The proposed approach is object-led storytelling for design practices. The regional creative-sector evidence supports the context; it does not establish a collaboration with MyWorld or any named institution.

Make a designed object carry the narrative
For a Bristol designer, a film can start with a decision rather than a slogan: why this curve, why this joint, why this material against that light? We propose following one object from a complete view to its defining detail, then placing it in an approved environment. This gives the visual treatment a purpose beyond a sequence of attractive surfaces.
The city’s creative context is a reason to be specific, not to imitate an animation studio or borrow someone else’s style. Bring your own design references and identify which belong to the product and which describe atmosphere only.

Set boundaries for the transformation
A reference pack should show the complete object, its construction and the parts that remain visible from different angles. For furniture, include the base and rear as well as the flattering front view. Tell us whether a finish variation is real or simply an idea under consideration.
We can explore a cinematic setting without redesigning the object. That distinction belongs in the treatment before images are developed. If the campaign depends on a particular room or installation, supply photographs of that real environment and mark the elements that must be preserved.
Build a film that belongs to your design language
The armchair concept demonstrates texture, silhouette and a transition between making and living. It is an invented demonstration, not proof of a Bristol workshop commission. Use it to assess how a quiet object can sustain a sequence, then agree a different treatment for your own design.
Our hybrid film workflow is handled remotely. The script, edit, colour and sound are developed around the references you approve. It does not include a visit to your studio or documentation of a live installation. Where the designer’s actual working gesture is essential, commission an on-site filming provider separately. Our treatment develops the material story from your approved photographs.

A place to show off? We turn it into a film.
Our films go beyond products: dining room, terrace, suite or office, we showcase your space from your own images.

Questions from Bristol businesses
Can a Bristol design practice keep its existing art direction?
Yes. Share the visual rules that matter: palette, typography, framing, material treatment and prohibited effects. Distinguish your own assets from third-party inspiration. We translate the agreed direction into a film treatment without presenting another studio’s work as yours.
Can the film show how a chair is actually made?
A concept sequence can suggest a material story, but it is not documentary evidence of manufacture. To document a specific workshop process, commission an on-site filming provider separately. A Notlith concept uses approved photographs and documents to introduce the object and its materials.
