Commercial video production for Edmonton

Edmonton businesses sell through long winters and short, full summers, often to customers spread across a wide metro region. Notlith makes commercial films remotely from your photographs and references, combining creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, colour and sound. No crew visits your premises; the film starts from the material you already have.

A capital city on both banks of a river

Edmonton is the capital of Alberta, built on both banks of the North Saskatchewan River. The river valley crosses the city as a long ribbon of parks and trails, and many neighbourhoods describe themselves by their position along it. For a business, that geography is useful context, but a film should place your address precisely rather than borrow the valley as a generic backdrop.

Government, the University of Alberta, health and research institutions, construction, energy processing and retail all shape the local economy. That mix produces very different briefs: a recruitment film for a public agency, a product film for a maker in Old Strathcona, a property video in a new community on the southwest edge. We start each one from its audience, not from a template.

Planning around a northern calendar

Winter is long here, and the city has built a program of winter festivals around it, while summer brings a dense run of outdoor events. Campaigns often need a version for each period. We plan seasonal variants from the same image library, so a café, shop or service stays recognizable and still looks current in January and in August.

Daylight changes too. Bright evenings in June and dark afternoons in December alter what a believable scene looks like. We match light and weather to the period when each version will run, and generated weather remains atmosphere, never a claim about your premises or how they look on a given day.

What we make, and what we leave to local crews

From your photographs, we create product films, social ads, restaurant and hotel films, real estate videos, venue and event promotion, corporate films and service promos, as well as AI ad films for campaigns. Every demo on this site is a fictional concept, labelled as such. We have no Edmonton office and claim no local clients.

Interviews, live events, sports and aerial footage need a camera on site, and an Edmonton crew is the right choice for those. When a project mixes both, we can work with footage your crew provides. Formats, language versions, review rounds and delivery are set in the quote after we review your material.

A place to show off? We turn it into a film.

Our films go beyond products: dining room, terrace, suite or office, we showcase your space from your own images.

Preparing your film

Can the film reference Edmonton landmarks?

As factual context or from your own licensed photographs, yes. We do not present generated landmarks as real footage, and destination imagery is never shown as a view from your premises.

Do you produce French versions?

Yes, from French text you supply or approve. That helps when addressing francophone audiences in Alberta or partners elsewhere in Canada.

Can one image library serve the whole year?

Often it can. We plan a core film and seasonal variants together, so winter and summer versions share the same look without a new production each time.

What should we send first?

Your objective, the placements you plan, current photographs and the details viewers must recognize. We review them before proposing a sequence.
