01
Start with one research buyer’s question
San Diego Regional EDC identifies biotechnology, genomics and medical devices within the region’s life sciences sector. For a company supplying that ecosystem, a useful film can answer a narrower question than a general corporate presentation: what is this product, and where does it fit in the buyer’s workflow? Our proposed direction is an introduction built from approved references. It does not imply scientific expertise, local clients or a partnership with the EDC.
02
Proposed story: from instrument to approved output
For a research instrument supplier, the opening shows the complete device on a neutral surface. A closer view identifies the user-facing controls; an approved screen image then shows the type of output a buyer should recognize. The final view returns to the device with a concise invitation to request technical information. Every visible interface and label should come from material the supplier has cleared for publication.
The sequence is a creative proposal, not an animation of a validated procedure. We would not fill missing steps with an invented experiment. Where a measurement, operation or sample movement must be exact, actual footage or a technically validated diagram is the appropriate source.
03
Build a reference pack that reviewers can check
Choose one device version and provide photographs of its housing, connectors, display and markings. Supply example screens with synthetic, non-sensitive data and identify their software version. A short list of approved statements helps keep the film within its purpose. Separate public product information from confidential research, unpublished results and anything belonging to a patient or research participant.
04
Make the review path part of the scope
A marketing contact and a technical reviewer may need to assess different parts of the same film. Identify them at the start, then group comments by image fidelity, terminology and approved claims. Notlith produces remotely from supplied images with AI-assisted visual work, editing and sound. We do not certify scientific accuracy, generate evidence of efficacy or offer clinical training through a staged advertising sequence.
05
Choose the next step for the viewer
A buyer introduction can end with a request for a datasheet, a sales conversation or a link to the product documentation. Choose one action and make it readable even without audio. Send the public references and intended audience for a tailored quote, including review rounds and delivery formats. The floral app concept above demonstrates screen storytelling only; it is not a life sciences case study.

Planning your San Diego film
Can a San Diego research supplier use this for a product launch?
A factual marketing introduction may be suitable after reference review. Define the audience and public claims first; technical procedures or experimental evidence need source material that directly supports them.
Should we upload real patient or participant records?
No. Use public materials and synthetic example data. Remove names, identifiers and confidential research before preparing references.
Is the application demonstration a scientific software project?
No. It depicts a fictional floral application. Its relevance is limited to the relationship between a screen and a visual sequence, not scientific functionality or prior sector work.
