Commercial video production for Coventry
Coventry has rebuilt itself more than once: from a medieval cloth town to a centre of bicycles and cars, then from the ruins of 1940 to a planned post-war city, and now towards electric vehicles and research. Notlith makes commercial films for businesses here remotely, from your own photographs, renders and archives, adding creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, colour and sound.

Three spires and a city rebuilt
Medieval Coventry grew rich on wool and cloth, and its skyline is still known for three spires: Holy Trinity, the tower of the ruined St Michael's and the surviving spire of Christ Church. On the night of 14 November 1940, an air raid destroyed much of the centre, including St Michael's, then the city's cathedral.
The new cathedral by Basil Spence was consecrated in 1962 beside the ruins, which were kept as a memorial, and the shopping precincts were planned around them. Later chapters added the 2 Tone music of the late 1970s, two universities and the title of UK City of Culture for 2021. Around the city lie Warwickshire towns such as Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and Rugby.

Films for makers, venues and institutions
Our work begins with what you can already show: a product on a white table, a room before opening time, a CAD render, a box of archive prints. From that material we write a short treatment, then build the film with generated motion and settings that are checked, frame by frame, against your references.
That approach suits component suppliers who cannot open their workshops, traders who need a new clip each season and cultural organisations promoting a changing programme. Interviews, live performances and anything that must be witnessed should be filmed by a crew. We have no Coventry office and send no camera operators, and we say so when a shoot would serve you better.

What stays exactly as it is
Landmarks such as the cathedral ruins, the Spence nave or the Lady Godiva statue in Broadgate appear only from photographs you are licensed to use, and never altered. Heritage claims, from watchmaking to the motor trade, are used only when your own documentation supports them.
Every project has review stages fixed in advance. The quote lists the formats, from a widescreen master to vertical cuts and screen loops, any language versions, and how you may use the delivered film.

Venue films
Welcoming guests? We film your venue too.
Restaurant, hotel, shop or property: from your photos, we make a hybrid film that makes people want to visit.

Working with us from Coventry
Which films do you make for Coventry businesses?
Product films, social video ads, restaurant and bar videos, hotel and property films, venue and shop videos, event promos, corporate films and AI advertising films, each scoped around your material.
Do you work with companies elsewhere in Coventry and Warwickshire?
Yes. A firm in Kenilworth, Nuneaton, Bedworth or Leamington Spa follows the same remote process as one in the city centre.
Can our film refer to the cathedral or the Blitz?
Only where it is relevant to your business and treated with care. We use licensed images and approved wording, and we avoid using the city's memorial sites as decoration.
What should we send first?
A few lines on the purpose and audience, where the film will run and a set of current photographs or renders. We review them before proposing a structure.
