Belfast United Kingdom

Commercial video production for Belfast

Belfast businesses often sell to three audiences at once: neighbours in Northern Ireland, customers across the water in Great Britain and buyers south of the border. Notlith makes hybrid films for all three, remotely, from the photographs and brand material you already hold. Creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, colour and sound come from our studio; your products, rooms and facts stay exactly as they are.

Between the Lough, the Lagan and the hills

Belfast sits at the head of Belfast Lough, where the River Lagan meets the sea, with Cave Hill and the Belfast Hills rising to the north and west. That setting appears in a lot of local marketing, and it is tempting to borrow it. We prefer to start from your own address: the street, the entrance and the view that genuinely belongs to your premises.

When a wider city image helps, we use licensed photography and present it as context. A shot of the Lough does not mean your rooms face it, and a skyline at dusk does not mean your restaurant is on the waterfront. Keeping that line clear protects the trust a film is meant to build.

From shipyard to studios and software

The yellow cranes of the former Harland and Wolff yard still stand over Queen's Island, where the Titanic was built. Much of that land is now the Titanic Quarter, home to visitor attractions, apartments, offices and film stages. Elsewhere, the Linen Quarter recalls the warehouses of an earlier trade, and the Cathedral Quarter gathers bars, galleries and theatres.

Today's advertisers here include software and cyber security firms, professional services, food and drink producers, hotels, property developers and independent retailers. Each needs a different film. We adapt the script, pace and visual language to the sector, never to a generic idea of the city.

What we make remotely, and what we leave to a crew

Our method suits subjects that can be built faithfully from good photographs: a product, a room, a property, an interface, a brand world. We write the idea, set the look in a treatment, generate and refine shots with AI, then edit, grade and score the film. Every frame is checked against your references.

Notlith has no Belfast office or camera crew. Interviews, live events, performances and documentary work need genuine filming, and the city has experienced crews for that. We will tell you if your brief belongs with them, and we can still edit or finish footage they capture.

Also for venues

A place to show off? We turn it into a film.

Our films go beyond products: dining room, terrace, suite or office, we showcase your space from your own images.

Preparing your film

Can one film work in Northern Ireland, Britain and the Republic?

Often, with separate end cards or captions for currency, delivery terms and offers. We plan those variants from the start using details your team confirms.

Will you show Belfast landmarks in our film?

Only with licensed images and as clearly identified context. We do not generate recognisable places or imply links with attractions or venues.

What should we send first?

The purpose of the film, where it will run, current photographs of your subject and the facts viewers must take away. We review the material before proposing a sequence.
