Event video in Belfast: promoting the programme before the doors open

Belfast's calendar moves from conferences on the Lagan to autumn arts programmes and the Christmas market at City Hall. Most organisers need a film weeks before anyone arrives, when there is no footage of this year's edition. Notlith makes promotional event videos remotely from your venue photographs, line-up material and brand assets, using AI-assisted motion, editing, colour and sound to sell what is genuinely scheduled.

Registrations for a conference at the waterfront

A congress or sector summit at ICC Belfast, beside the Waterfront Hall, draws delegates who are comparing the agenda with their diary. The film should answer when, where, who speaks and why attending matters. We build it from your confirmed speakers, session themes and photos of the halls you have booked.

Delegates from outside Northern Ireland often ask how they will get there. A closing card can mention the two airports or the Enterprise rail service from Dublin, provided your travel page supports it. We do not show a speaker who has not confirmed, and we avoid suggesting sponsors before their logos are approved.

Autumn programmes and festival box offices

Arts organisations around the Cathedral Quarter and the Lyric or the MAC sell shows that differ every year. A festival trailer works well when it carries the programme's tone rather than a generic montage of applause. Supply artwork, licensed production stills and the dates, and we pace the edit around booking moments.

Short cutdowns can follow each phase: announcement, on-sale, final tickets. Each version needs its own facts, so we keep a changelog of dates and prices the client has confirmed. Performers appear only from material you are licensed to use; we never generate a likeness of an artist.

Seasonal trading around City Hall

Traders and food vendors at the Christmas market in the City Hall grounds often need a short film for their own pages. It can show stall, product and opening times without implying an official link to the market organiser. Your own photographs of the stall set the look.

Winter light in Belfast fades early, and stall photos taken in the dark carry useful atmosphere. We grade gently so lamps and steam remain believable. Crowd scenes are not generated: a busy aisle would be a claim about popularity. If you want people in frame, supply images you have permission to use.

After the event: recap material needs real footage

A recap proves something happened, so it relies on genuine filming or photography from the day. We can edit, grade and score that material, add captions and produce cutdowns, but we will not fill gaps with invented audiences, applause or speakers. Phone clips from your team are often enough when edited with care.

If you plan to repeat the event, ask your photographer to capture the entrance, signage, a wide room view and detail shots. Next year's promotional film then starts from authentic, cleared material instead of a blank page. Formats and review rounds are agreed in the quote.

Plan the details

Can the video mention Belfast International Arts Festival or another festival?

Only if your event is part of that programme and the organiser allows the reference. Otherwise we describe your own dates and venue.

Our speakers change late. Is that a problem?

We structure the edit so speaker cards can be swapped. Tell us which details are provisional and we will keep them easy to update.

Can you show the venue full of people?

Not by generating a crowd. Use licensed photos from previous editions, clearly from that edition, or present the room set up before guests arrive.

Which formats do organisers usually need?

A landscape trailer for the website and screens, vertical cuts for stories and reels, and a square version for feeds. We confirm the list at the brief.
