Event video in Aberdeen: from exhibition stands to February festivals
Aberdeen's event calendar runs from trade exhibitions such as Offshore Europe at P&J Live to winter programmes like Spectra and Granite Noir. Each asks something different of a film. Notlith produces event videos remotely, using your programme, venue photographs and brand material, with AI-assisted motion, editing and sound shaped around where the film will actually be seen.

A loop for a stand screen
On an exhibition floor, visitors walk past a screen in a few seconds and rarely hear it. A stand film for an energy or engineering exhibitor therefore works as a silent loop: large type, one capability per scene, and an ending that points to the person on the stand rather than to a website nobody will type.
We build it from product photographs, drawings and approved case material, then check legibility at the screen size your stand builder specifies. A portrait totem and a landscape wall need separate compositions. If the loop must restart without a visible jump, we design the last frame to meet the first.
Before the doors open and after they close
A conference or exhibition usually needs two different pieces. The first invites: dates, venue, speakers who have confirmed and the reason to register. The second reports, and that one should rely on genuine photographs from the day rather than generated crowds standing in a hall that was half full.
For the follow-up, send your photographer's selects with names cleared for publication. We sequence them with your key messages and agreed captions. Where a moment was not captured, we prefer a typographic card to an invented scene, because attendees will remember what actually happened.
Programmes for the darker months
February in Aberdeen brings Spectra, the festival of light, and the crime-writing programme of Granite Noir. Organisers, venues and businesses taking part may want a trailer that feels like a winter evening in the city centre without pretending to show installations that do not yet exist.
We can work from concept drawings and previous years' licensed photography, labelled as such. Artists' work stays the artists': we do not reproduce or imitate an installation without permission. A partner business can receive its own version with its opening hours and offer, while the festival dates and branding remain exactly as the organisers publish them.
Facts that change before the event
Speakers withdraw, sessions move and ticket links change. We keep dates, times and names on separate titles so a late correction does not mean rebuilding a scene. Your team confirms the programme text at the final review stage.
Venue details also deserve care. A promotion for an event at the Music Hall, the Beach Ballroom or a hotel suite should use photographs of that room and describe its access arrangements accurately. Formats, language versions and the number of review rounds are listed in the quote.

Plan the details
Can you make a stand film for Offshore Europe?
Yes, from your own product images, drawings and approved claims. Tell us the screen dimensions and orientation early, because the composition depends on them.
Can the recap include crowd shots you generate?
No. A recap describes something that took place, so it uses real photographs or footage from the event. Typography fills the gaps where no image exists.
Do you film the event itself?
We do not send a crew to Aberdeen. For live coverage, book a local photographer or videographer, and we can edit their material afterwards.
Can a sponsor get its own cut?
Yes. Sponsor versions can share the core edit while changing the closing card and logos, provided the organiser approves each version.
Start with your images
Send the event dates, the confirmed programme, the screen or channel the film is for and any photographs you are cleared to use.
