Event video in Coventry: from a park stage to a cathedral nave

An event in Coventry can take place on grass in War Memorial Park, under the glass screen of the cathedral, or in an exhibition hall on the city's northern edge. Each setting changes what a promotional video can honestly show. Notlith builds event promos remotely from your programme, venue photographs and confirmed details, with AI-assisted motion, editing and original sound.

Summer music on open grass

War Memorial Park hosts the Godiva Festival, and other outdoor programmes use the city's parks through the summer. A promo for an open-air date has to carry the basics clearly: the day, the gates, the stages and the acts already confirmed. Weather cannot be promised, so we keep skies neutral and let the line-up do the persuading.

We start from the artwork, artist photographs supplied with permission, and a site map if one exists. Crowds are never generated to suggest a sell-out. When an act is added or withdrawn, a revised end card is quicker to approve than a new film, so we design the structure with that change in mind.

Concerts beneath the great tapestry

Coventry Cathedral, designed by Basil Spence and consecrated in 1962, stands beside the ruins of the medieval church destroyed in November 1940. Concerts, lectures and services there are framed by that history, and the cathedral community has its own rules about images and wording.

For such an event we use licensed photographs of the nave, the ruins and Graham Sutherland's tapestry exactly as they are, with no generated alterations. The tone is set by the programme and the performers rather than by effects. We prepare a review copy so the cathedral's team can confirm captions before anything is published.

Exhibition days in arena halls

The stadium and arena complex in the north of the city also contains exhibition and conference space, used for trade shows, fairs and conferences. Organisers there usually need two films: one persuading exhibitors to book a stand, and one telling visitors why the day is worth their time.

The exhibitor version leans on the floor plan, stand types and audience profile you can document. The visitor version names sessions and confirmed speakers. Both use the same visual language, so the campaign reads as one event, and neither invents attendance figures or sponsor logos.

Nights that celebrate 2 Tone

The 2 Tone label was founded in Coventry, home city of The Specials, and club nights, tribute gigs and exhibitions still return to that music. The temptation is to borrow a famous record for the trailer. Unless you hold a licence for the recording, we compose original music in a related spirit instead.

Black-and-white chequerboard graphics are common visual shorthand, but trademarks and band imagery need clearance. We use your poster, approved artist photographs and venue pictures. Where a documentary tone is wanted, with interviews and archive clips, we recommend recording the interviews properly and can edit them with our sequences.

Plan the details

Can the promo be ready before the full line-up is confirmed?

Yes. We can deliver a first teaser with the date and confirmed acts, then supply updated end cards or a second edit as names are announced, if those versions are in the quote.

Do you film the event itself?

No. We make promotional films remotely before or between events. Coverage on the day needs a crew; we can edit their footage afterwards if scoped.

Can you use a landmark like the cathedral ruins?

Only through photographs you are licensed to use and with the venue's agreement. We never generate or alter a landmark to fit the edit.

Which formats do organisers usually need?

A vertical cut for social stories, a square version for feeds and a widescreen master for screens and websites. We agree the list when we quote.

Start with your images

Send us the event date, the confirmed programme and your poster artwork, and we will suggest a structure for the teaser.
