Event video in Exeter: cathedral nights, stadium suites and small stages
Exeter's events take place in very different rooms: a medieval cathedral, a rugby stadium that doubles as a conference centre, arts venues in the city centre, a theatre on a university campus. Each room shapes what a promotional film can promise. Notlith makes event videos remotely, from your programme, past photographs and brand files, with direction, AI-assisted motion, editing, colour and sound.

Concerts and talks under the cathedral vault
Exeter Cathedral hosts concerts, recitals and talks, and organisers promoting them work inside a building with its own rules on photography and the use of images. The nave and its vaulted ceiling are recognisable to anyone who has been inside, so a generated interior that rearranges the space would be noticed at once.
We build these films from images the organiser has permission to use, usually obtained through the cathedral's own arrangements. Motion stays gentle and within those photographs. The film then carries the programme: performers, repertoire, date and ticket link. We never imply that the cathedral endorses a third-party event unless that has been agreed in writing.

Conference days at a rugby ground
Sandy Park, home of Exeter Chiefs beside junction 30 of the M5, is also a conference and banqueting centre. Corporate organisers using its suites on non-match days face an odd challenge: delegates may picture the pitch and the stands rather than the room where they will actually spend the day.
A delegate film should lead with the layout, the catering, the parking and the agenda, using the venue's approved images. The pitch can appear as context where it is genuinely visible from the suite. Club branding and crests are a separate matter: we leave them out unless your agreement with the venue allows their use.

Small stages in the city centre
Exeter Phoenix on Gandy Street, the Corn Exchange on Market Street and the Barnfield Theatre run varied programmes of music, comedy, film and spoken word. Promoters working with these rooms often need a short trailer for each date, made quickly and updated whenever a line-up changes.
We design a template rather than a one-off: a title system, a sound identity and a structure that accepts new photographs and names. Changing a support act or a start time then means an edit, not a new film. Artist photographs are used as supplied and with permission; we do not generate performers or audiences.

Public events on a university campus
The University of Exeter's Streatham campus is home to the Northcott Theatre and hosts public lectures, open days and conferences. Departments promoting these events usually hold photographs of previous editions but have little time to build a campaign around them.
A campus event film must be clear about access: which building, which entrance, whether booking is required and how to get there from the city centre. We can show last year's photographs, labelled as such, and keep speaker names exactly as confirmed. University logos and brand rules come from your communications team, and we follow them to the letter.

Plan the details
Can the film use photographs from last year's event?
Yes, if you hold the rights and they are captioned as a previous edition. We do not present old images as a preview of a programme that has since changed.
Can you add a crowd to make the room look full?
No. We show the audience your photographs actually contain. A smaller, well-composed room is more honest, and a clear programme still sells tickets.
Can we change the line-up after delivery?
Yes, if we plan for it. A template with editable titles makes later changes quick; the number of revisions is set out in the quote.
Do you film on the night?
No. We work remotely from material you supply. For a live recording or a recap of the day itself, a camera operator on site is the right choice, and we will say so.
Start with your images
Send us the programme, the venue, your rights-cleared photographs and the date tickets go on sale, and we will propose a film and its versions.
