Corporate film in Exeter, from Southernhay terraces to the M5 business parks
Exeter employers are split between Georgian terraces in the centre and newer buildings on the eastern edge of the city, near junction 29 of the M5. Many also serve clients far beyond the city, across Devon and Cornwall. A corporate film should make that geography clear. Notlith builds these films remotely from your approved photographs, plans and brand files, with direction, AI-assisted motion, editing, colour and sound.

Behind a Georgian front door on Southernhay
Southernhay contains many examples of Georgian architecture, and its terraces are now home to professional offices. The façade is handsome, but it says little about the people inside or how they work. A film that lingers on railings and sash windows tells a prospective client nothing they could not learn by walking past.
We open on the façade briefly, then move to what the firm actually does for a client: the meeting, the file, the outcome, shown through your photographs, documents with names removed and clear titles. Listed interiors are reproduced from your images only. We do not add rooms, staff or period details that are not in the building.

Science park offices that look like anywhere
On the other side of the city, Exeter Science Park sits at junction 29 of the M5, close to the Sowton and Skypark business areas. Its buildings resemble modern offices elsewhere in the country. A candidate comparing employers cannot tell from the outside whether the work is lab research, software, engineering or administration.
Here the film has to carry what the architecture cannot. We work from screenshots, instrument photographs, diagrams and approved results, and we structure the sequence around one problem the team solved. Exterior shots stay brief, and the route to the site stays accurate, whether that means the motorway, the Park and Ride or the train to Digby & Sowton.

Teams that cover the peninsula
Exeter is the county town of Devon, and organisations based here often cover a wide territory: surveyors driving to farms on Dartmoor, engineers maintaining sites in Cornwall, advisers visiting clients in Somerset. For such a team, the Exeter office may be the place where few people actually spend their week.
A corporate film can show that reach with a simple map, drawn to your actual coverage, alongside photographs from real jobs you have permission to publish. We will not generate coastlines, moorland or customers to fill the gaps. If the story depends on seeing people at work in the field, we will tell you that a filmed day is the better route.

Introducing a building before the move
When an organisation relocates within Exeter, for instance from the centre to a business park, staff and candidates want to know what the new workplace will look like and how they will get there. Before opening, architects' visualisations and floor plans are often the only material that exists.
We can turn approved visualisations into a short, clearly labelled film: the floor, the shared spaces, the journey from the station or the motorway. Every generated element is marked as a visualisation, and the wording avoids promising facilities still subject to fit-out. Once the building opens, real photographs replace the renders.

Plan the details
Can one film serve both client pitches and recruitment?
Yes, with separate edits. A client version leads with the service and the result; a recruitment version leads with the work and the location. The number of versions is agreed in the quote.
Can you show our Southernhay office inside?
Only from photographs you provide or approve. If the building is listed, we keep its features exactly as they are and add no furniture, people or decoration that is not there.
We work mostly outside Exeter. Is that a problem?
No. The film can make your Exeter base clear while showing coverage across Devon and Cornwall through maps and cleared job photographs, without implying offices where you have none.
Do you film interviews with our staff?
No. We work remotely from existing material. Interviews and documentary scenes need a camera on site, and we will say so before quoting if the idea depends on them.
