Event Video in Leicester: promos for festivals, costume launches and conference days

Leicester's year has dates that shape everyone else's plans: the Diwali celebrations on Belgrave Road in the autumn, the Caribbean Carnival in early August, home fixtures for the football and rugby clubs. Organisers of smaller events need their promotion to land around them. Notlith makes event videos remotely from your artwork, programme and venue photographs, with editing, AI-assisted motion and sound.

Programmes around Diwali on the Golden Mile

Diwali follows the lunar calendar and falls in October or November, so last year's promotion cannot simply be re-dated. Temples, community groups, schools and businesses often run their own events alongside the city's celebrations. Each needs a film that states its own date, place and booking details without implying it belongs to the official programme.

Religious and cultural imagery deserves care. We do not generate deities, sacred objects or ceremonies; if they appear, they come from photographs you are entitled to use and that your community is comfortable showing. Lamps, rangoli patterns and light can become graphic motifs, and captions in Gujarati, Punjabi or Hindi are approved by a fluent reviewer you nominate.

Costume reveals before Carnival

Carnival bands usually present their costumes well before August, and a short reveal film helps people choose a section and sign up. The source material is strong: finished costumes, sketches, fabric swatches and feathers photographed in good light. We can open on the sketch and cut to the photographed piece, so viewers see exactly what they would wear.

The film shows the costume rather than inventing the parade. We do not generate crowds on the route or dancers in your designs, and the Carnival's name and identity are used only if your band takes part and the organisers allow it. Prices and registration deadlines sit in editable text layers, ready for updates.

Conference days in the Cultural Quarter

A conference at the Athena next to Curve, or a seminar hosted by one of the universities, sells on its speakers and its agenda. Our films for these events use approved speaker portraits, session titles and photographs of the actual room. A clear agenda card, readable on a phone, often does more for registrations than a long montage.

Speakers appear only as they appear in their own photographs; we do not animate faces or put words in anyone's mouth. If a keynote changes, the name sits in a separate layer and is replaced in a new version. We can also prepare a holding card for the morning itself, with rooms and timings.

Hospitality evenings and gala dinners

Match-day hospitality, charity balls and award nights compete for the same diaries. A gala film needs to show the table setting, the menu and the dress code, and to say plainly what the ticket includes. Photographs of last year's room are useful when they are labelled as a previous edition.

Club crests, competition names and player images belong to their owners, so a promotion built around a fixture uses them only under licence. Without one, the film can still sell the evening through the room, the food and the timing before kick-off. Announcement, reminder and final-call versions are planned together so details stay consistent.

Plan the details

Can you produce a promo in two languages?

Yes. We build one master with editable captions and prepare English plus the versions you need. A reviewer you trust checks each translation before release.

Can we show last year's crowd?

Only with photographs or footage you own, labelled as a previous year. We do not generate audiences or reactions and present them as real.

Do you record the event itself?

No. We work remotely before the event. Coverage on the day needs a photographer or crew in Leicester, and we can edit their material afterwards if agreed.

What if a speaker or act changes?

Names, dates and prices sit in editable layers, so an update does not mean rebuilding the film. Send the approved wording and image and we prepare the new version.

Send the programme, dates, venue photographs and artwork, and we will propose an announcement film with its follow-up versions.
