Restaurant & Bar Video in Leicester: from thali to the last round

Eating out in Leicester covers a wide spread: vegetarian Gujarati kitchens and sweet centres on Belgrave Road, cafés along Queens Road in Clarendon Park, small bars in the lanes around St Martin's, quick tables before a match or a show at Curve. Notlith makes restaurant and bar videos remotely from photographs of your real dishes, drinks and room, with AI-assisted motion, editing and sound.

Thalis and sweet counters on Belgrave Road

A thali is a composition: several bowls, breads, rice and a sweet, each with its own colour. A film that serves it well moves from the whole tray to individual dishes in the order a diner would eat. We work from overhead and side photographs of the plate as it actually leaves your kitchen, with the bowls in their usual places.

Vegetarian, vegan or Jain-friendly statements are factual promises. They come from you, and the film never shows an ingredient that would contradict them. For a sweet centre the counter itself is the attraction: trays of barfi and jalebi photographed fresh, with prices shown only as editable cards if you want them.

Brunch and coffee on Queens Road

Clarendon Park's shopping street has a neighbourhood rhythm: weekend brunch, laptops on weekday mornings, families in the afternoon. A café film here is less about spectacle than recognition: the window seat, the cake display, the water bowl by the door. Locals should see the place they walk past every day.

Motion stays slow and natural, built from your photographs of the counter, the menu board and a few signature plates. Steam, pouring and light can be animated carefully. Customers are not generated, so if you want people in the film, use photographs of regulars or staff who have agreed to appear.

Bars in the Lanes

The narrow streets around St Martin's and Loseby Lane hold small bars where the room is part of the offer. A bar film needs mood without losing the facts: the cocktail list, opening hours, whether you take bookings. We build it from photographs of the bar at night, close shots of signature drinks and the details that make the room yours.

Drinks are shown as you serve them, in the right glass with the right garnish. We avoid anything that suggests drinking quickly or heavily, in line with alcohol advertising rules, and keep the energy in light, music and pace. A DJ or live act is mentioned only if it is genuinely on the programme.

Before kick-off, before curtain up

Home games at the King Power Stadium and Welford Road, and evenings at Curve or De Montfort Hall, bring people who want to eat early and leave on time. A pre-match or pre-theatre film says exactly that: what is served, from what time, how long it takes and how far the walk is.

We make these as short vertical cuts that can go out on the day of a fixture or performance, with dates in editable layers. Club and theatre names appear only as factual references to the event, never as an implied partnership, and crests or production artwork stay out unless you hold permission.

Plan the details

Can you make our food look better than the photos?

We improve light, colour and framing, but the dish remains the one you serve. If a photograph is weak, we ask for a new one rather than generating a different plate.

Can we include menu prices?

Yes, as editable text cards, so a price change does not require a new film. We can also deliver a version without prices.

Can the film use our playlist?

Only if you hold the rights for online advertising. Otherwise we use licensed music chosen for the mood of the room.

Do you shoot in the restaurant?

No. We work remotely from photographs you send. A short session with a phone and good daylight is often enough for a first film.

Send photographs of your room, five signature dishes or drinks and your opening hours, and we will propose a first cut.
