Commercial video production for Leicester

Leicester has long made and sold things people inspect closely: hosiery and shoes from its factories, gold and saris on Belgrave Road, space hardware developed beside the River Soar. Notlith makes commercial films for businesses here remotely, from your own photographs and references, adding creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, colour and sound without altering what you sell.

From the Fosse Way to the Golden Mile

Leicester began as the Roman town of Ratae beside the Fosse Way, and Belgrave Road and Narborough Road still follow parts of that old route. In the Victorian period the town grew on hosiery and shoe manufacturing. Belgrave Road, known as the Golden Mile, is now lined with jewellers, sari shops and restaurants, and its Diwali celebrations bring crowds every autumn.

Recent chapters include two universities, the discovery of Richard III beneath a car park in 2012 and his reburial in the cathedral in 2015, and the National Space Centre with Space Park Leicester on the north side of the city. Around it, Leicestershire mixes market towns, logistics parks and food traditions such as Stilton and the Melton Mowbray pork pie.

What we make for businesses here

Our films start from material you already hold or can photograph: products, rooms, shopfronts, plans, screens, archive pictures. That suits a jeweller who needs every link to stay accurate, an agent with new listings each week, an engineering firm whose processes are confidential, or a restaurant with a new menu. Each generated movement is compared with your references before you see it.

Some work needs a camera, and we say so. Interviews, live events, real people wearing your clothes and documentary coverage should be filmed. We have no Leicester office and send no crew; when a shoot is the right answer, our part can be the product and setting sequences that surround it.

Accuracy, languages and approvals

Landmarks such as the Clock Tower or the cathedral appear only from licensed images, never generated. Origin, certification and heritage claims come from your documentation rather than your postcode. If your customers read Gujarati, Punjabi or another language, caption versions can be added and approved by fluent reviewers you choose.

Work starts with a short written treatment. Drafts follow at stages agreed in advance, and the quote lists every format, from the website master to vertical and in-store versions, together with language versions and how you may use the delivered files.

Working with us from Leicester

Which films do you make for Leicester businesses?

Product films, social video ads, restaurant and bar videos, hotel and property films, venue and shop videos, event promos, corporate films and AI advertising films, each scoped around your material.

Do you work with companies elsewhere in Leicestershire?

Yes. A business in Loughborough, Hinckley, Melton Mowbray or Market Harborough follows the same remote process as one near the Clock Tower.

Can a film mention Leicester's heritage?

When it is accurate for your business and approved by you. We do not attach knitwear, footwear or Golden Mile references to a product simply because of where the company is based.

What should we send to begin?

The aim of the film, its audience, where it will run and a set of current photographs. We review them before proposing a structure.
