Corporate film in Belfast: telling candidates and partners what the work involves

Many Belfast employers answer to a parent group in London, Dublin or North America while hiring graduates locally. A company film has to make sense to both. Notlith produces corporate films remotely from your approved photographs, screens and wording, with AI-assisted motion, editing, colour and sound. The result explains what your teams actually do, without staged colleagues or borrowed scenery.

Graduates weighing up Queen's, Ulster and their first job

Students finishing at Queen's University or the Ulster University campus on York Street often compare several offers in software, cyber security, audit and law. A useful recruitment film shows a working week in concrete terms: which projects a new starter joins, who they report to and what training looks like. Vague promises about culture tell an applicant very little.

We script from your graduate programme documents and real role descriptions, then build visuals from photos of your teams' spaces and sanitised screens. Where a quotation from a current employee helps, it should be approved and attributed. A generated face speaking invented words would not belong in a film meant to earn a candidate's trust.

Offices in the Linen Quarter or on Queen's Island

Belfast's commercial buildings range from converted Victorian linen warehouses around Bedford Street to newer blocks in the Titanic Quarter. Your film should show the floor your people actually use. If a meeting room overlooks the slipways or City Hall, photograph that view; if it does not, we will not suggest it with a composited window.

Shared amenities need care. A building gym, a rooftop terrace or a café run by the landlord can appear when you identify them as shared. We keep generated camera moves faithful to the layout in your images, so a visitor arriving for interview recognises reception, lifts and desks from the film.

One story for head office, another for clients

A Belfast delivery centre may need to explain itself to colleagues elsewhere in the group as much as to local clients. Those audiences ask different questions. Head office wants capability and how teams fit together; a client in Dublin or Manchester wants to know who will handle their account and how.

We plan one core sequence and separate endings or captions for each audience. Terms that differ between jurisdictions, such as legal or regulatory references specific to Northern Ireland, are checked with your own specialists before they reach the script. Currency, office addresses and service coverage are taken from your approved documents, never assumed.

Approval routes for a regulated or listed business

Finance, insurance and legal firms usually route films through compliance, HR and communications. We send a written outline and a still storyboard first, so a statement that needs evidence is spotted before any motion is produced. Each person reviews the facts they own while one contact gathers creative comments.

Some briefs still call for genuine filming: a chief executive's address, a panel at an internal event or a day shadowing an engineer. We can say where that is needed and what we would build around it. Formats, captions, language versions and review rounds are set out in the quote.

Plan the details

Can the film mention our Invest NI support or local partnerships?

Only with wording you have approved and can evidence. We do not infer grants, accreditations or partnerships from a logo on a website or a business address.

We have no recent photos of our Belfast office. What then?

A phone shoot of reception, work areas and any shared spaces in daylight is a good start. We advise on angles before you take them.

Can a recruitment version and a client version share material?

Yes. The visual base can be shared while scripts, captions and calls to action change, so each viewer sees what is relevant to their decision.

Will you produce subtitles for internal screens?

We can deliver captioned versions for silent playback in receptions, intranets and social channels. Required formats are agreed during the brief.
