Milton Keynes United Kingdom
Commercial video production for Milton Keynes
Milton Keynes was designated a new town in 1967 and was granted city status in 2022. It was laid out on a grid of roads around older settlements such as Bletchley, Wolverton and Stony Stratford, and its borough also takes in Olney and a ring of villages. Notlith makes hybrid commercial films for businesses here remotely, from their own photographs and references, combining creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, colour and sound.
Remote production · From your photos

A city drawn on a grid
The grid roads carry H and V numbers as well as names, and a separate network of redways for walking and cycling threads through the estates and parks. The original shopping building in the centre, opened in 1979, is now Grade II listed, and the concrete cows made for the new town have become a familiar image of the city. Balancing lakes such as Willen and Caldecotte were built to manage water and now serve as parks.
For a film, that planning has a practical consequence. A business is usually found by its grid square, its unit and its car park rather than by a street frontage, so explaining where you are and how people arrive can be part of the story. We show your own premises and surroundings from your photographs, and use landmarks only as cleared, labelled context.

Very different organisations, a few miles apart
Distribution centres sit near the M1, national head offices and service firms fill the central business district, The Open University has its headquarters at Walton Hall, and Bletchley Park keeps the story of wartime codebreaking. Around them are engineering workshops, leisure venues, district centres, village pubs and independent shops in the older towns.
Each needs a different film: a product sequence for an online brand, a recruitment film for a site that runs shifts, a hotel film for weekend guests, an announcement for an event in a heritage setting. We start from the decision the viewer has to make and build the sequence around it, rather than applying one template to every business in the borough.

Remote production, stated plainly
We write the idea, set the visual direction, generate and animate from your material, then edit, grade and add music and sound. Products, rooms and premises are checked against your photographs so nothing appears that you do not sell or own, and synthetic elements are labelled. Drafts are reviewed through shared links at each stage.
Notlith has no Milton Keynes office and no local crew. When a brief needs live coverage, interviews or documentary filming, we say so and can work with footage recorded on site by your team or a local videographer. Formats, review rounds, languages and usage are set out in each quote.

A place to show off? We turn it into a film.
Our films go beyond products: dining room, terrace, suite or office, we showcase your space from your own images.

Preparing your Milton Keynes film
Do you work with businesses outside the city centre?
Yes. Companies in Bletchley, Wolverton, Newport Pagnell, Olney, Woburn Sands and the surrounding villages work with us in exactly the same way, since the whole process is remote.
Which kinds of business is this suited to?
Those whose offer can be shown through good photographs, screens or documents: products, hotels, restaurants, property, shops, venues, events and service firms with a clear process.
What should we send first?
Your objective, the audience, where the film will run and a folder of current photographs. We review the material and come back with questions and a first idea.
