Commercial video production for Providence

Providence grew up where the Woonasquatucket and Moshassuck rivers meet at the head of Narragansett Bay, and it still mixes a state capital, several colleges and a long tradition of making things. Notlith produces commercial films for businesses here remotely, from the photographs and references you already have, with creative direction, AI-assisted imagery and motion, editing, color and sound. We have no office in Rhode Island and no crew to book; the film starts from your material.

A capital city built on rivers and workshops

Downtown Providence follows its rivers, which were uncovered and given new walkways in the late twentieth century. On scheduled evenings, mostly between spring and fall, WaterFire, the installation created by Barnaby Evans, lights braziers along them. Above downtown, the marble dome of the State House stands on Smith Hill, while College Hill rises to the east with Brown University, RISD and the old houses of Benefit Street.

The city also has a long manufacturing history in jewelry, silverware and textiles, still visible in the brick of the Jewelry District and the mills of Olneyville. For a film, that heritage is useful context, but it never replaces your own story. We place a business precisely, from its real address and photographs, and we do not borrow landmarks as decoration or suggest ties that do not exist.

The kinds of brief a Providence business brings

Hospitals, universities, insurers and state government are major employers, alongside design studios, small manufacturers and a restaurant scene shaped in part by the culinary programs at Johnson & Wales. A recruiting film for a health system, a launch film for a jeweler, a menu video for a dining room on Federal Hill or a listing for a triple-decker on the West Side: each needs its own audience, tone and format.

Seasons matter too. Commencement and reunions fill the city in spring, summer pulls people toward the bay and the coast, and fall brings students back and visitors on foliage weekends. We plan a core film and seasonal variants from one image library, so a campaign can follow the year without starting over each time.

Eleven services, one remote method

Our pages for Providence cover product films, short social ads, restaurant and bar videos, hotel films, real estate videos, shop and venue videos, event invitations, company films, service promos, a guide to choosing a production partner and AI ad films. The videos you see on this site are invented concepts made to show our method, labeled as such. We do not claim local clients or a presence in Rhode Island.

Some stories belong to a camera: a surgeon explaining a procedure, a band on stage at a Downcity club, a drone pass over a new building by the river. For those, hire a crew based in the state, and we can cut their footage together with sequences built from your stills. The quote then lists formats, translations, review rounds and the rights attached to the finished film.

Preparing your film

Can our film include WaterFire or the State House?

Only from licensed photographs, used as clearly identified context. We do not generate recognizable landmarks or the WaterFire installation, and we never imply an affiliation you do not have.

Do you work with businesses outside the city?

Yes. Because we work remotely, a business in Pawtucket, Cranston, Warwick or elsewhere in Rhode Island works with us in exactly the same way, from photographs and an online review process.

Can you produce a Spanish or Portuguese version?

Yes, when your audience needs it. A native speaker writes and reviews the voiceover and on-screen text, and the additional versions are listed in the quote.

What should we send first?

Your objective, the audience, where the film will run, current photographs of your product or premises and any brand guidelines or approved wording you already use.
