Hotel film in Providence for guests who book the night the rivers are lit

On a full WaterFire lighting, braziers burn along the rivers of downtown Providence from sunset to around midnight, and some visitors plan an overnight stay around that one evening. Notlith makes hotel films remotely from your photographs, room data and package details, with creative direction, AI-assisted motion, editing, color and sound, so a guest can picture the whole night: check-in, dinner, the river and the walk back to your door.

An evening that begins when the sun goes down

A WaterFire guest checks in during the afternoon, rests, goes out for dinner and heads to the river as the fires are lit. The film follows that rhythm in your building: the room at golden hour, the lobby as people leave, the bar or restaurant if you have one, all built from your own photographs taken at the matching time of day.

The lighting itself belongs to WaterFire Providence, the nonprofit that stages it. We use its name factually and show the event only through images you have permission to use, such as licensed photography. We do not generate flames on the water, because a synthetic version of a public artwork would misrepresent both the event and your hotel.

What a guest really wants to know is how far the river is and what the route looks like after dark. If your property sits near Waterplace Park or Kennedy Plaza, the film can trace the walk with your photographs and an honest time, measured by your staff rather than estimated by us.

If you are on College Hill or across the highway, we say so and show the route as it is, including the climb back up the hill. A property a short drive away can offer a parking or rideshare note instead. Every distance and direction on screen is something your front desk would repeat word for word.

Dates taken from the published calendar

Full lightings, partial lightings and shorter evening events are announced by WaterFire each season, and the program has changed from year to year. The film never lists dates on its own. We produce an evergreen cut and a short date card that you update when the calendar is confirmed, so an old schedule never stays online.

A package built around the evening, with a late dinner reservation or a later checkout, appears only once its terms are final. We avoid words like guaranteed or front-row and we do not promise a view of the fires from any room unless you have checked it from that window on a lighting night.

Coming back after midnight, waking up slowly

The night ends late, so the second half of the film is about quiet: a door that opens easily, a corridor that feels calm, a room with blackout curtains if you have them. These scenes come from your photographs and are paced more slowly than the evening section.

The morning shows what you really offer on a Sunday, whether that is brunch downstairs, coffee in the lobby or a checkout time that leaves room for a walk on Benefit Street. If breakfast ends at ten, the film says ten. A guest who planned the night around the fires should find the morning exactly as described.

Plan the details

Can we use photographs our guests took at WaterFire?

Only with the photographer's written permission and if the image represents the event fairly. We credit or label it as you agree with them.

What if a lighting is cancelled for weather?

The film is not tied to one date. The date card carries the schedule, and the main cut still sells the hotel, the walk and the evening downtown.

Do we need photos taken in the evening?

They help a great deal. Lobby, room and entrance photos taken around sunset let us match the light honestly instead of generating it.

Is the interior demo a Providence property?

No. It is a fictional concept created with AI. Your film uses photographs of your own hotel.

Start with your images

Send evening photographs of your rooms, lobby and entrance, the walking time to the river and any WaterFire package terms, and we will outline the film.
