Hotel film in Rochester for audition weekends, jazz nights, wedding blocks and family trips
A hotel film works when it speaks to the reason someone booked. In Rochester those reasons include auditions and recitals at the Eastman School of Music, the jazz festival in June, weddings spread across the city and the Finger Lakes, and family days at The Strong National Museum of Play. Notlith builds hotel films remotely from your own photographs, so each room shown is a room guests can book.

A quiet night before an audition
Young musicians and their families come to the Eastman School of Music for auditions, recitals and summer programs. For a guest who must perform the next morning, the details that matter are practical: how quiet the room is, whether there is a desk for scores, how far the walk is to Gibbs Street, what time breakfast starts.
A short film can answer those points directly, shot by shot, from your own room photographs and a plan of the route. We will not suggest soundproofing or practice space you do not have. If the property allows instrument practice in a meeting room, that is worth one clear scene, described exactly as your staff would describe it.

Late returns during the jazz festival
During the Rochester International Jazz Festival in June, many performances take place on stages and in clubs around the East End, and evenings run late. Guests who chose a hotel for walking distance want to see that walk, the lobby at night and what remains open when they come back.
We build that sequence from photographs of your entrance, front desk and bar after dark, plus a map graphic of the route. Festival branding is used only with permission. A version can run in the weeks before the festival and be retired afterward, so it never promises an atmosphere outside the festival dates.

Room blocks for weddings in the city and the lakes
Couples who marry in Rochester or at venues in the Finger Lakes often reserve room blocks, and their guests decide from a link on a wedding website. A one-minute film helps the couple and their planner: room types, the breakfast room, the shuttle point, the space where guests gather before leaving.
We keep the film generic enough to send to many couples, with a separate end card for each block if you want one. Wedding guests are never generated. If you have photographs from a real event with consent, they can appear; otherwise the film shows empty, well-lit spaces.

Family suites for a day at The Strong
The Strong National Museum of Play, home of the National Toy Hall of Fame, draws families to the city year round. Parents booking for a museum weekend look for different things than business travelers: a room that sleeps four, a pool if you have one, parking for a loaded car and a calm breakfast.
We sequence the film around that day: arrival, the room, the pool or play area, the drive to the museum. Distances are given as you can verify them. The museum itself appears only through licensed images or not at all, and the film never suggests a partnership the hotel does not have.

Plan the details
Can one hotel film cover all these guests?
A single master can, but separate short cuts work better. We plan one library of approved images and produce cuts for each audience.
Can you show rooms that are being renovated?
Only once they are finished and photographed. We can prepare the edit in advance and drop in the new photographs when they arrive.
Can the film include the Genesee River or High Falls?
From your own or licensed photographs, as context. We do not generate a river view from a room that does not have one.
Where will the film be used?
On your website, booking pages, social channels and emails to group organizers. Formats and usage are set in the quote.
Start with your images
Send us current photographs of rooms and public spaces, plus the guest types you most want to reach, and we will propose a structure.
