Event promotion video in Rochester for parks, street fairs, fringe stages and theater seasons
Rochester’s calendar runs from lilacs in Highland Park to a September fringe festival and long indoor seasons downtown. Each kind of event asks a different question of its promotional film. Notlith makes these films remotely from your photographs, program details and artwork, and we keep the promise of every film within what the organizers can actually deliver.

Flowers that keep their own schedule
The Lilac Festival takes place each May in Highland Park, the arboretum laid out with input from Frederick Law Olmsted. Vendors, performers and nearby businesses promote their presence weeks ahead, before anyone knows how far the blooms will have opened. A film that shows hillsides in full color makes a promise nobody can keep.
We build those promos around what is certain: your stand, your set times, your product, the dates. The park appears through photographs you own or license, labelled as earlier years where appropriate, and we do not generate the lilac collection as though it were filmed this season. A short reminder cut for the opening weekend can follow once the dates and locations are confirmed.

One template for a Fringe run
The Rochester Fringe Festival in September brings many shows into venues across the city over a short run. A company with several performances, or a venue hosting several companies, needs material for each listing, quickly, while the program is still settling.
We design one visual system from your production photos and poster art, then produce versions that swap title, venue, date and time without reopening the edit. Each version stays short enough to post the morning of a show. Performers appear only from real photographs; we do not generate actors or audience reactions.

Street festivals: a booth number is worth a slogan
Summer weekends bring neighborhood street festivals, among them the Corn Hill Arts Festival in July and Park Ave Fest in August. For an artist, a food vendor or a shop that opens its doors during the event, the useful film tells people where to find you: the street, the block, the booth number if there is one.
We combine product or work photos with a simple map graphic and the practical details organizers publish, such as shuttles or closed streets. Anything the festival has not confirmed stays out. We do not add festival logos without permission, and we keep crowd scenes out of the film unless they are your own photographs.

Seasons at the Eastman Theatre and Geva
Indoor seasons run on a different rhythm: a season announcement, single-show pushes, and reminders before each opening. Orchestras, touring presenters and theater companies working at the Eastman Theatre, Geva Theatre Center or smaller stages need a consistent look across many titles.
Stage footage depends on union agreements and rights holders, so we work from production photography and approved artwork, adding motion, typography and sound. If you need real excerpts of a performance, those must be filmed by the company with the right permissions; we can integrate them afterward.

Plan the details
Can you make a promo before the festival lineup is final?
Yes. We build a holding version around the dates and the experience, then add names and times as they are confirmed, without remaking the film.
Can we use the festival’s name in our film?
Usually as factual information, such as where and when you appear. Official logos and anything implying sponsorship need the organizer’s permission.
Will you film the event itself?
No. We work remotely from your material. For coverage on the day, a local crew is the right choice, and we can edit their footage afterward.
Which formats do event promos need?
Mostly vertical for stories and reels, square for feeds and a wide version for screens or websites. We set the list with you in the quote.
