Spokane United States

Commercial video production for Spokane

Spokane grew up around the falls of the Spokane River, and its downtown still faces the water. Today the city is the commercial center of the Inland Northwest, serving eastern Washington and north Idaho. Notlith makes commercial films for businesses here remotely, from photographs and references they already hold, with creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, color and sound. No crew travels to your premises.

A downtown rebuilt beside the falls

After the Great Spokane Fire of 1889 destroyed much of the commercial core, downtown was rebuilt in brick and stone, with many buildings designed by the architect Kirtland Cutter. In 1974 the city hosted Expo '74, the first world's fair with an environmental theme, and the fairgrounds on the river became Riverfront Park.

Those places give viewers an immediate sense of where they are, which is why they need care in a film. We use landmarks only from licensed photographs and only as context. The premises, product or service on sale always comes from your own images, so the film never suggests a view or an address you do not have.

An economy that reaches far beyond the city

Spokane once lived on mining, timber, rail and the grain of the Palouse. Health care and the medical schools of the University District, energy and metering technology, aerospace manufacturing, agriculture and retail now share the regional economy, and Fairchild Air Force Base lies to the west. Many local firms serve customers on both sides of the Idaho line.

That spread shapes our briefs. A recruiting film for a hospital, a launch for a lentil brand, a listing in Browne's Addition and an ad for a taproom in Kendall Yards share only one rule: show what is true. The pages linked below cover each service with an approach written for Spokane.

A calendar that runs from lilacs to the fair

Spring and summer bring the Lilac Bloomsday Run on the first Sunday in May, the Lilac Festival, Hoopfest in June, Pig Out in the Park and the Spokane County Interstate Fair in September. Ski season on Mount Spokane follows. Businesses plan campaigns around these moments without borrowing names or logos that belong to their organizers.

In some summers wildfire smoke reaches the region and changes outdoor plans. Preparing seasonal and fallback versions from the same visual base keeps a campaign consistent when conditions shift, and lets a single library of photographs carry winter and summer messages.

What we do remotely and what needs a crew

From your images we create films with generated camera moves, light and atmosphere, then edit, grade, score and mix them. Products, rooms and signage are compared with your references in every shot. Demos on this site are fictional concepts, labeled as such. We have no Spokane office and claim no local clients.

Interviews, live coverage, aerial footage and real people on camera require someone on site, and a Spokane crew is the honest choice for them. When a project mixes both, we can work with their footage. Formats, language versions, review rounds and delivery are set in the quote after we review your material.

Preparing your film

Can the film show Riverfront Park or the falls?

From licensed photographs and as context, yes. We do not generate Spokane landmarks or present a city view as the view from your premises.

Can one film serve Washington and Idaho?

Usually as one master with separate end cards, so addresses, license numbers and offers match each state while the story stays the same.

Do you produce Spanish versions?

Yes, from Spanish copy you write or approve, reviewed by a native speaker. The visuals can remain identical across languages.

What should we send first?

Your goal, the placements you plan, current photographs and the details viewers must recognize. We review them before proposing a sequence.
