Notlith · Spokane

Video production company for Spokane’s grid technology, sterile manufacturing, mining and ski businesses

Notlith is a remote video studio without an office or crew in the Inland Northwest. We make films from what an organization already has, such as product photographs, drawings, reports and approved text, then add AI-assisted motion, editing, color and sound. Four Spokane-area situations show where this approach helps and where it stops: metering technology sold from Liberty Lake, injectable drug manufacturing, mineral exploration and pass sales before the first snow.

Selling meters and grid software from Liberty Lake

Itron, headquartered in Liberty Lake, began as a spin-off of the utility now called Avista, and other companies around Spokane also work on meters, sensors and utility software. Their buyers are engineers and procurement teams at electric, gas and water utilities, who need to see how a reading travels from a device in a basement to a control room.

A remote studio suits that brief because the subject is mostly invisible. We animate the data path from your architecture diagrams and product renders, and show the software with real screen captures. Claims about accuracy, battery life or interoperability come from your certification documents. A field installation by a technician in a Spokane winter is worth filming with a local crew, and we cut that footage in.

Fill-finish lines that clients audit before they sign

Jubilant HollisterStier runs a sterile injectable manufacturing site in Spokane and has been adding fill-finish capacity there, and suppliers that serve sites like it sell to pharmaceutical companies that audit before they sign. Business development teams need short films that explain a line, a quality system or a technology transfer to visitors who may never tour the cleanroom.

Cleanrooms are hard to film and usually closed to outside crews. We work from approved renders, line layouts and photographs taken by your own staff under gowning rules, and every regulatory statement is checked by your quality unit. We never generate equipment you do not run or show a process step out of order. Client names and products stay out unless their agreements allow it.

Explaining a mining property to investors

Spokane grew partly as the business and rail center for the mines of North Idaho's Silver Valley, and some exploration companies still keep offices in Spokane and Spokane Valley. A junior explorer has to explain a property to investors who will never stand on it: the geology, the drill program, the permits and the road in.

Mineral disclosure is regulated, and a film is read against the same standard as a written report. Every grade, tonnage or resource term on screen must come from documents prepared by your qualified person, and speculation stays out of the script. We animate cross-sections and drill traces from your own models, and use real site photographs rather than generated landscapes that could mislead about access or terrain.

Season passes sold before the first snow

Mt. Spokane, inside a state park north of the city, and 49 Degrees North near Chewelah sell season passes in the fall, and ski shops, rental counters and lodging nearby run their own offers in the same weeks. The films for those campaigns go out while the runs are still brown and the lifts are idle.

We build them from the resort's or shop's own winter photography, trail maps and pass terms, with prices and deadlines as editable text because they change from one sale period to the next. We do not generate snow on a run that has not opened or terrain that does not exist. Footage from the first good powder day can replace preview shots later in the season.

Plan the details

Can you work under a pharmaceutical client's confidentiality agreement?

Yes. We sign the agreement required and work only from material your quality and legal teams release. Product names, batch records and client identities stay out of the film unless they are cleared in writing.

Who approves technical claims in a mining film?

Your qualified person and your disclosure counsel. We submit the script and the final cut to them, and change wording on their instructions rather than simplifying numbers for effect.

Can a utility buyer get both a technical cut and a short one?

Yes. A longer cut for evaluation teams can carry architecture and specifications, while a short version for trade shows and email carries one clear message. Both come from the same approved script and assets.

Do you have a crew in Spokane?

No. We work remotely and do not claim a local presence. When a brief needs filming, such as a cleanroom with gowned operators or a drill site, a local crew records it and we finish the film.
