Commercial video production for Kelowna
Kelowna stretches along the east shore of Okanagan Lake, in the homeland of the Syilx people, and was long known as the Orchard City. Notlith makes commercial films for businesses here without a crew or an office in the valley: we start from your photographs, plans and brand material, then add creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, colour and sound to produce a hybrid film.

A lakeshore city with a working valley behind it
The William R. Bennett Bridge links Kelowna with West Kelowna across the lake, and Highway 97 runs north toward Lake Country and Vernon and south toward Penticton. Downtown sits between Knox Mountain and the waterfront parks, while Rutland, Glenmore, the Mission and the commercial strip along Harvey Avenue each have their own character and their own kind of business.
Fruit growing shaped the early town, and the wider Okanagan is now a wine region with tasting rooms on both sides of the lake. Around them sit tourism and hospitality, health care, construction, software companies, aviation work near Kelowna International Airport, and teaching and research at UBC Okanagan and Okanagan College. Big White Ski Resort, in the hills to the southeast, gives the city a winter season as well as a summer one.

How a remote studio fits an Okanagan brief
Most of what a Kelowna business needs to show already exists in pictures: bottles and labels, rooms and patios, listings, screenshots, products laid out on a table. We write the script, set the look and use AI-assisted generation for movement and context, then compare every frame with your references so the label, the room or the tool on screen stays true to the real thing.
Some projects still need a camera. A harvest crew at work, a live concert at Prospera Place or a recorded interview cannot be invented, and we will say so before quoting. In those cases we can plan the film around footage captured by a local videographer and handle the edit, titles, grade and sound mix.

Views, seasons and what belongs to you
The lake, the bridge and the vineyard slopes are easy to recognize, which is exactly why we treat them carefully. They appear only from licensed photography, labelled as the setting, and are never placed behind a window or a patio that does not look that way. A lake view and lakefront access are presented as two different facts.
Seasons move quickly in the valley, from blossom to harvest and from beach days to ski weekends. Dates, opening hours and offers come from your own calendar, and we can prepare a summer and a winter version from the same brief so the film stays accurate after the season changes.

Venue films
Welcoming guests? We film your venue too.
Restaurant, hotel, shop or property: from your photos, we make a hybrid film that makes people want to visit.

Preparing your film
Which services do you offer in Kelowna?
Eleven services have their own pages below, from product films and short social ads to restaurant, hotel, property, event and company films, plus AI ad films for wineries and other Okanagan producers.
Can you work with businesses in West Kelowna or Lake Country?
Yes. Because the work is built from your material, the location of the business makes no difference to the process. Captions name the community where the business actually operates.
Can the film include French?
Yes. We can add French captions or prepare a French version from a translation you supply or approve, alongside the English master.
How do we start?
Tell us what the film should achieve and where it will run, then share the images you have. We review them first and reply with a proposed treatment and a quote.
