Video production company in Kelowna, working from the valley's own material

For many Okanagan businesses, hiring a production company has meant bringing a crew over the Okanagan Connector or waiting for a local team to be free in the busy months. Notlith works differently. We are a remote studio: we build films from your photographs, drone stills, plans and recordings, with creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing, colour and sound. This page explains how that fits a Kelowna business.

Remote production · From your photos

No crew to book, no travel to cover

Because nothing is filmed, there is no crew travelling from the coast, no hotel nights and no shoot day that depends on the weather. The production happens on our side while your team carries on with the season. Nobody on your staff is pulled away from guests or customers for a day of filming.

That also means we cannot capture anything that is not already in your material. If the film needs a live moment, we tell you at the brief stage and help you decide whether a local videographer should record it first.

Produce in winter, publish in spring

Kelowna's summer is short and busy for tourism, food and drink businesses. A practical approach is to produce in the quieter months, using photographs from last season, so the films are approved before the first warm weekend. Blossom, harvest or snow photographs from earlier years can still serve, as long as they are labelled with the season they show.

We plan the review rounds around your calendar. If the owner is only available on certain days during harvest or ski season, we schedule approvals for those days rather than the other way round.

Drone material near the airport and the lake

Aerial images of vineyards, lakefront property or hillside homes are common in the valley. If you already have them, we can integrate them, provided the pilot can confirm the right to use the images.

Flights close to Kelowna International Airport fall within controlled airspace and need the proper authorization. We do not generate aerial views of your property to replace missing drone shots; we work with what was legally captured. If ownership of older aerial images is unclear, we leave them out.

One project, several valley addresses

Businesses with locations in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country or further along Highway 97 can share one master film with versions for each site. Each version names the correct community and uses photographs of that address. A shop in Lake Country should never appear under a caption naming downtown Kelowna.

Pricing depends on the number of versions, formats and review rounds, and is set out in the quote once we have seen your material. A single site with one format is a modest project; a chain of locations with seasonal versions is planned as a series.

Plan the details

Do you have an office in Kelowna?

No. We are a remote studio with no office or crew in the valley. Everything is built from the material you send.

Can you work alongside our usual photographer?

Yes. We can send a shot list before their next session, so the photographs serve the film as well as your website.

Can a winery, its restaurant and its guest suites share one project?

Yes. One brief can cover the tasting room, the restaurant and the accommodation, with a separate cut for each. Every version uses photographs of that part of the estate only.

Can you use clips a staff member shot on a phone?

Often, for short moments, if you have permission from whoever filmed them and from anyone shown. We stabilize and grade them, but we do not generate what the clip did not capture.

Start with your images

Send a few images you like, the place the film will be published and the result you want it to support.
