Notlith · Kelowna
Corporate film and employer brand in Kelowna, for this year's graduates and the alumni who left
Each spring, students finish degrees at UBC Okanagan and diplomas or trade levels at Okanagan College. Some of them look at openings in Vancouver or Calgary before they look at the employers a few kilometres from campus. A recruiting film can change that order. Notlith makes corporate and employer brand films remotely from your photographs, recordings and hiring documents, with creative direction, AI-assisted motion, editing and sound.

Getting onto the list before the coast and Alberta
A final-year engineering, nursing or management student at UBC Okanagan may know the large names in the Lower Mainland and in Calgary better than the firms along Highway 97. The first task of the film is to put your organization on that list: what you make or provide, where the team actually works, and which entry-level roles you expect to open this year.
We build that opening from material you already hold: photographs of your floor, lab or yard, a short recording of a manager describing the work, the org chart you use internally. The film should be easy to remember by name after one viewing between lectures, so we keep it brief and concrete, without lines about the lake or the lifestyle.
The first twelve months, scripted from your onboarding plan
Graduates comparing offers want to know what happens after the first day. If you run a structured first year, with a mentor, rotations between teams or a certification you pay for, the film can walk through it in order. Your onboarding documents become the script, so nothing on screen depends on our guesses about how your company works.
Where something is not fixed, we leave it out or say it plainly. If rotations depend on workload, the narration says so. Short interviews with people you hired in recent years fit well here; you can record them on a phone with their written consent, and we handle the edit, sound clean-up and captions.

Apprentices finishing their levels on KLO Road
Okanagan College trains apprentices at its Kelowna campus on KLO Road, in shops for trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry and heavy-duty mechanics. Many apprentices already have a sponsoring employer, so a film aimed at them is about the next move: who will sign their hours, which work they will see, and what follows the Red Seal exam.
Shops and job sites appear only through your own photographs, with the protective equipment your crews really wear. We do not generate workers, tools or vehicles. If you have no usable images of a site, the film can rely on drawings, finished projects and the recorded voice of a foreman explaining a typical week.
A separate cut for people who already left
Some of the people you want are Okanagan graduates who moved to the coast or to Alberta a few years ago and now think about returning. They know the valley already; what they lack is a picture of your work. A shorter version for LinkedIn and alumni newsletters can speak to them directly, showing the seniority of the roles and how your team works with offices elsewhere.
Since November 2023, British Columbia's Pay Transparency Act has required publicly advertised job postings to state the expected pay or a pay range. When a film points to a specific opening, the pay information stays on the posting it links to, and we check that the film promises nothing the posting does not.

Plan the details
Can we show the UBC Okanagan or Okanagan College campus?
Naming the institutions as a fact is fine. Their logos, buildings and campus imagery need their permission. Without it, we leave the campus out and show your own workplace instead.
Can we play the film at a campus career fair?
Yes, if the organizers' screens accept the file. We deliver a version to the technical specification they give you, with captions, because career fair halls are rarely quiet enough for sound.
Can recent hires speak in the film?
Yes, with their written consent and in their own words. We do not write testimonial lines for them, and we never generate a person speaking on your behalf.
Is the software in the demo a Kelowna company?
No. It is a fictional concept created with AI to show the style of the work, not a Kelowna employer, product or client.
