Property video in Napier: hill villas, 1930s streets and uplifted land
Napier property comes in strongly different settings: villas climbing Mataruahou, houses laid out after the 1931 earthquake, suburbs on land that used to be lagoon, coastal homes facing the bay. A property video should explain which of those a listing belongs to. Notlith builds property videos remotely from your photographs and plans, with editing, colour and sound.

Older homes on Mataruahou
Bluff Hill and Hospital Hill, together known as Napier Hill or Mataruahou, hold a mix of older timber homes and later houses, many looking across the port or the bay. Buyers drawn to the hill often want to know which era a house belongs to and how much of the original fabric remains.
We order the film so that the period of the house is clear early: the facade, a detail such as joinery or a fireplace, then the rooms as they are today. The outlook appears from the rooms that actually have it. Parking and access are stated as text from your listing information, never implied by a generated driveway.

Marewa and the post-earthquake suburb
Marewa was developed from 1934, after the earthquake, and some of its houses carry Art Deco or Spanish Mission details. For buyers interested in that period, original features matter as much as the size of the section. Leadlight windows, curved corners and stucco finishes are part of what such buyers are looking for.
We show period details only where your photographs prove them, and describe renovations as renovations. If a facade has been altered, the film does not restore it digitally. A short sequence through the street can set the context, provided it uses licensed or your own images. A street scene is also labelled so viewers know it is context and not the listing.

Land that used to be lagoon
The 1931 earthquake lifted the bed of the Ahuriri Lagoon, and much of that land was later built on, including parts of the suburbs to the west and the area around the airport. Since Cyclone Gabrielle, buyers across Hawke's Bay pay close attention to flood information. The land change is part of Napier's history, and buyers can read about it in many places.
A property film is not the place to answer those questions, and it should never appear to. We keep hazard statements out of the visuals and point viewers to the LIM report and council information instead. The film concentrates on layout, light and use of space. Agents and vendors remain responsible for disclosure, and the video should not compete with it.

Westshore and Bay View by the water
North of the port, Westshore and Bay View face the bay, with the airport and the Esk River area inland. Homes here are often marketed on beach access and morning light, both of which buyers can check in minutes. Sunlight on the water at dawn, for instance, is shown only if your photographs capture it.
We ask for the orientation of the main rooms and photographs taken at the times of day you want to describe. Distances to the beach or the trail are written from your listing information. Generated sky or water is limited to what the original photographs already show. Proximity to the airport is stated factually when it is relevant to the listing.

Plan the details
Can you make a video from listing photos only?
Yes, if there are enough angles of each room and a floor plan. We tell you which rooms need more coverage before starting. A walkthrough plan can be prepared from the floor plan itself.
Can the film show the view from the hill?
Only from photographs taken at the property. A wider view of Napier is labelled as the area, not as the home's outlook. Viewers then know exactly what they would see from the windows.
Should flood or hazard information be in the video?
No. Buyers should rely on the LIM report, council information and their own advisers. The film avoids any visual suggestion either way. Your agent's disclosure obligations stay unchanged.
Can you show a renovation that is not finished?
We can present plans or concept images labelled as such, alongside photographs of the current state. Completion dates come from your builder, not from us.
