Property video in Nelson: Haven outlooks, streams and period cottages
Nelson's housing climbs from the flat streets near the city centre to hillsides looking over the Haven and Tasman Bay, while newer townhouses and subdivisions spread through Stoke and towards Richmond. Each type raises different questions for a buyer. Notlith makes property videos remotely from your photographs, floor plans and the facts the listing agent has approved.
Remote production · From your photos

Atawhai and the road along the Haven
North of the city, homes in Atawhai look across the Haven towards the Boulder Bank, with the main road north running between the houses and the water. For a buyer, the outlook and the road come together. We open on the view from the rooms that have it, then show the street side and the approach from your photographs, so neither surprises anyone.
We do not erase traffic, retouch a fence out of the frame or extend the water into a window that faces the hill. If the deck catches the evening light over the Boulder Bank, a photograph taken at that hour makes the point. A buyer who arrives knowing the layout and the setting is more useful to the agent than one who leaves at the door.

Near the Maitai and the streams
Several Nelson neighbourhoods sit near the Maitai River or the streams that feed it, and parts of the city have dealt with flooding and slips after heavy rain. Hazard information belongs in the LIM report and the agent's disclosure, not in the mood of a video. The film neither hides a nearby stream nor dramatises it.
In practice, a riverside walk can appear as an amenity only when your photographs show it and the listing describes it. We avoid generated rain, water or skies that could be read as a statement about drainage or exposure, and questions about hazards are pointed to the documents.

Period cottages close to town
Streets in The Wood and Nelson South include older timber cottages and villas, many of them renovated. A buyer wants to see what is original and what is new: the weatherboards, the sash windows, a modern kitchen behind a period front. The film can move from street to rear in a way that makes those layers clear.
We take the order from the floor plan, so a viewer understands how the rooms connect. Renovation details, consents and building dates are mentioned only if the agent supplies them in writing. We will not add period features, such as a fireplace or a decorative ceiling, that the house does not have.

Townhouses and sections in Stoke and Richmond
Newer homes in Stoke, and over the boundary in Richmond, tend to sell on practical points: bedrooms, garaging, a sunny garden, the walk to schools and shops. A short film suits them when it moves through the plan in a clear sequence, without filler or borrowed scenery.
For a section or a home not yet built, we use the developer's plans and approved renders, labelled as illustrations. Finishes, landscaping and outlooks come from the specification, not from imagination. When the house is completed, the film can be updated with real photographs and the illustration labels removed.

Plan the details
Can you show the view from the deck?
Yes, from photographs taken on site. We do not enhance or extend a view, and we show it only from the rooms that actually have it.
Can you add a drone shot?
We can use aerial photographs or footage you supply from a qualified operator. We do not generate aerial views of a real property or street.
What about properties in Tasman District?
The same approach works for Richmond, Māpua or Motueka. We rely on the local facts the agent approves for that listing and nothing else.
What do you need from the agent?
Recent photographs, the floor plan, the approved listing text and any facts that must appear on screen. We work from those alone.
