Venue and shop video in Nelson: below the Church Steps and down at the wharf
Nelson's city centre runs down Trafalgar Street from the Church Steps and Christ Church Cathedral, with shops, galleries and cafés spreading along Bridge and Hardy streets. Further out, small businesses occupy buildings around Māpua Wharf and studios along the roads towards Motueka. Notlith makes venue and shop videos remotely from your photographs, showing how each space actually works.

From the cathedral down Trafalgar Street
A shop on Trafalgar Street is found by people walking down from the cathedral or along from the river end. Its film can start with that approach: the street, the shopfront, the window display, then the door. We take each shot from your photographs, so the frontage and signage are exactly what a visitor will see.
Inside, the sequence follows the floor plan rather than a dramatic sweep: where the counter is, how the ranges are laid out, whether there is a fitting room or a back room for workshops. If the shop is narrow and deep, the film shows it that way instead of widening the space with generated motion.

Saturdays around Montgomery Square
The Nelson Market fills Montgomery Square on Saturday mornings, and the surrounding streets change with it. Some shops open earlier, some run market day offers, some see different customers. A short Saturday version of your film can show what is different that day and invite market visitors to walk over.
For stallholders, the market itself is the venue. A portrait clip can show the stall layout, the range on the table and where to find you in the square, built from your photographs of a recent Saturday. We avoid showing crowds you did not photograph and never present the market's name as an endorsement.

Sheds and rooms at Māpua Wharf
At Māpua, on the Waimea Inlet, small shops, galleries and eateries occupy buildings around the wharf. A visitor arrives on foot from the car park or off the ferry from Rabbit Island, and the film for a business there can start from that arrival: the wharf, the doorway, the first thing seen inside.
These are compact spaces where the view through the door matters. We show the outlook only if the room has it, and keep the inlet in licensed or captioned photographs. Opening hours can shift with the seasons, so we put them in a caption that can be updated without editing the film.

Studios and galleries on the road out
Along the routes towards Motueka and in the Moutere, artists and makers run studios and small galleries from converted buildings and homes. A visitor needs to know how to find the entrance, where to park and whether the studio is open without an appointment. A short film can answer all three.
For these places we keep the film practical and personal: the sign at the gate, the path to the door, the work on the walls, the bench where it is made. Each element comes from your photographs. We do not generate the building or the landscape, because visitors will compare both when they arrive.

Plan the details
Can you show our shop busy with customers?
Only if you have photographs of real customers who agreed to appear. We never add generated shoppers, and a tidy open shop at the right hour reads well enough.
Can the film include the Church Steps or the cathedral?
As context, yes, from licensed or your own photographs, labelled as the street. We do not imply any connection between your business and the cathedral.
How do we keep opening hours correct?
We place them in captions or a final card that can be updated quickly. The main sequence does not need to change when the hours do.
Do you film inside the shop?
No. We work from photographs you take or commission. If a walk-through needs smooth real movement, a local videographer can film it and we edit.
