Event video in Limerick: films that sell the date before it arrives

An event in Limerick competes with a crowded calendar: Riverfest in early summer, rugby weekends at Thomond Park, hurling at the Gaelic Grounds, the St Patrick's Day band festival. Notlith makes the films that announce your event and push ticket sales, built remotely from your artwork, venue photographs and confirmed programme. We do not film on the night; we help people decide to be there.

Check the city's diary before you pick a launch week

A match weekend fills hotels, pubs and the roads around the Ennis Road, and a festival on the quays draws attention away from smaller events. The release of your promotional film should avoid being buried by both. Tell us your on-sale date and any competing fixtures you know of, and we plan the announcement, reminder and last-call edits backwards from there.

Each cut has a different job. The first introduces the idea and the date; the second confirms names and venue; the last speaks to people who have not decided yet. They share a look but should not repeat the same footage in the same order. Viewers who saw the announcement should find something new in the reminder.

Venues with a character of their own

The University Concert Hall, the Lime Tree Theatre, Dolan's on the Dock Road and the courtyard of King John's Castle each suggest a different kind of night. Your film should look like the room people will walk into, not a generic arena. Send current photographs of the stage, seating and entrance, plus any approved images of previous editions.

If the venue has changed since the last edition, say so. We will not reuse an old layout to imply a configuration you are not offering, and capacity or accessibility details stay on the ticketing page where they can be updated. Step-free access and seating plans change between shows, so they are better kept in text.

No invented crowds, no borrowed performers

It is tempting to fill the frame with a cheering audience. We will not generate one and pass it off as your event, because people who attended last year will notice. Atmosphere can come from light, sound design and the space itself, which is more honest and often more striking.

Performers, speakers and teams appear only with approved images and confirmed bookings. If a headliner is not yet signed, the film says less rather than hinting. For sports-related events, club crests and competition marks need permission from their owners before they appear.

After the event: what we can and cannot make

A recap needs real material. If your photographer or a local videographer captured the night, we can edit their footage into a highlights film with titles and music. Without that, a recap would be fiction, and we will suggest a thank-you card or a save-the-date for next year instead.

Save-the-date films are well suited to our method: the brand, the venue and the next date, built from what you already own and ready to post while the audience still remembers the night.

Plan the details

Can you make a promo for a conference at the university?

Yes. Send the programme, confirmed speakers and venue photographs. Speaker images need their approval, and session details should match the published agenda.

Do you provide vertical cuts for stories and reels?

Yes. Vertical and square versions are recomposed for each format with titles readable without sound. We agree the list of formats in the quote.

Can the film include Irish-language titles?

Yes, bilingual titles or a separate Irish version are possible. A fluent reviewer you nominate approves the wording before delivery.

What if the date or line-up changes?

We keep date and name cards as separate layers so they can be updated. The number of revisions included is set out in the quote.
