Event video in Waterford: routes, street weekends and a crowded December
Waterford events often happen on the move or in the open: a marathon through the city, a sportive along the Greenway, a weekend of performers in John Roberts Square, a Christmas programme across the centre. Notlith makes promotional event videos remotely, from your route maps, line-up artwork and photographs of past editions, with AI-assisted motion, editing and sound. The aim is to sell the next date clearly, without inventing a crowd.

Runs and rides: the route is the poster
For a participation event such as the Waterford Viking Marathon in June or a cycle along the Greenway towards Dungarvan, entrants want to know where they will be and when. An animated route, traced from your official map, with start, finish, feed stations and cut-off points, often persuades more than any slow-motion finish line.
We build that route from the GPX file or course plan you supply, never from a guess. Photographs of previous editions can show the atmosphere, provided you hold the rights and the people in them were informed. Generated runners or riders are not used to suggest a field you have not yet filled.

Sharing the August streets
Spraoi fills the city centre on the August bank holiday weekend, and Waterford Walls brings street artists in the same month. A smaller event in August is competing for attention on the same streets and the same feeds. Its video has to say quickly what it is, where it is and why it is different, ideally in the first frame.
If your event runs alongside a festival, we can mention that only in the words the organisers permit. Their name, logo and imagery belong to them. A fringe gig, a gallery opening or a market can be promoted strongly on its own terms, with your venue, your programme and your dates.

Winterval and the weeks before Christmas
Waterford Winterval runs as a Christmas festival in the city centre, and businesses use the season for markets, carol services, pantomimes, parties and late openings. A December event video needs several moments: an announcement in autumn, a reminder once the lights are up, a last-chance clip for the final weekend.
We plan those as one family of edits with a shared look, so each version is recognisable but carries different information. Times, prices and booking links are kept in text layers that can be updated quickly, which matters when a session sells out or bad weather moves an outdoor slot indoors.

Indoor programmes, from the Mall to O’Connell Street
Theatre, talks and concerts at venues such as the Theatre Royal on the Mall or Garter Lane on O’Connell Street have a different need: a season trailer that lists several dates without becoming a timetable. We work from production stills, posters and approved quotes, crediting performers and photographers as you specify.
Recaps and highlight reels are a different matter. They depend on genuine footage of the night, which we cannot generate honestly. If you record the event or hire a local videographer, we can edit that material and fold it into next year’s announcement.

Plan the details
Our route is not final yet. Can we still start?
Yes. We can design the film around a placeholder and drop in the confirmed route later. Nothing is published with a provisional course presented as final.
Can we use photographs from a previous year?
Yes, if you own them or have permission, and if they are labelled with the year where it matters, for instance when the venue or format has changed.
Do you add sponsor logos?
Yes, from the files and placement rules your sponsors provide. We check each logo against its guidelines and keep a version without them if the platform requires it.
Can the video include Irish?
Yes. Send approved Irish text or a recorded voice, and we will set it with the same care as the English, in a bilingual cut or a separate version.
Start with your images
Send the date, the venue or route file, your artwork and any rights-cleared photographs from past editions, and we will suggest a sequence of announcements.
