AI video production in Kilkenny: ad films that respect the craft around them

Kilkenny is a city where design workshops, animators and craft makers have long set a high standard for images. Notlith makes advertising films with AI for local brands from your real product shots, venue photographs and brand assets. The idea, the script and the look are agreed with you first; generated motion is then added only around material you supplied, and the edit, grade and sound are finished by hand so the pack, the label and the venue stay as they are.

No borrowed hand

With Cartoon Saloon based in the city and the legacy of the Kilkenny Design Workshops, local audiences know what crafted imagery looks like. AI can easily produce something that resembles a known illustrator or studio, and that is exactly what we refuse to do.

We design a look from your brand: its colours, typography and photographs. If a campaign needs drawing, we can animate work by an illustrator you commission. The film should look like you, not like an imitation of someone else’s craft, and a viewer in a city that knows animation will notice the difference.

A launch timed to a city moment

An ad film often has a natural window: Savour Kilkenny in October, the Arts Festival in August, the run-up to Christmas on High Street. We write one campaign idea that can open the window and still work after it, with a master film and dated end frames that can be swapped.

Cutdowns follow the master: landscape for websites and screens, vertical for stories, square for feeds and short bumpers for pre-roll. Festival names appear only in plain text, unless you are an approved partner with the right to use their marks.

Labels that must survive every frame

County Kilkenny has dairy, brewing and small food producers, and their packaging carries legal information. When AI generates motion around a can, a jar or a carton, it can blur or invent text. We check every frame of the finished film against your photographs and reject any shot where a label has changed.

Ingredients, origin claims and awards appear only as printed on your approved pack. If a drink contains alcohol, the film follows Irish advertising rules, which we review with you before delivery.

Labelled clearly, and a camera when needed

We tell you which shots are generated, and the delivery note lists them so you can add a disclosure where platforms or your policy require it. We do not generate customers giving testimonials, staff who do not exist or Kilkenny landmarks presented as your premises.

A brand whose story is its makers’ hands, at a potter’s wheel or a stone bench, may be better filmed for real. We will say so, and we can edit that footage into the campaign. Usage and ownership are set out in the quote.

Plan the details

Where does a Kilkenny campaign begin?

With the product itself: clear photographs from front, side and above, close-ups of the label, your brand guidelines, the claims your packaging already makes, and two or three adverts whose tone you like, from any category.

Can the ad show Kilkenny Castle?

Yes, from licensed photographs captioned as the castle. We do not generate or alter it, or suggest a link with your brand that does not exist.

At what points do we approve the work?

Three: the written idea and script, a rough cut with sound, and the graded master with its cutdowns. How many revision rounds each stage includes is stated in the quote, so nobody is surprised at the end.

Can we have an Irish-language version?

Yes, from a translation you approve and a recorded human voice, with Irish subtitles and graphics in the same design.

Start with your images

Send your product photographs, the moment you want to launch around and any must-show labels, and we will write a first campaign idea.
