Hotel film in Cardiff: rooms for every reason to visit
People book a room in Cardiff for very different reasons: a home match, a concert, a graduation, a meeting at the Senedd, a weekend by the water in the Bay. A hotel film that works speaks to one of those reasons clearly. Notlith produces hotel films remotely from your photographs, with creative direction, AI-assisted motion, editing, colour and sound, and keeps every room exactly as a guest will find it.

Who is booking, and why
A supporter travelling for an international wants to know how to reach Westgate Street on foot and whether breakfast starts early. A parent arriving for a graduation cares about quiet rooms and parking. A delegate needs a proper desk and reliable wifi. Each of these guests reads the same hotel differently, so we often recommend a core film plus short cuts aimed at one type of stay.
The core film introduces the building, arrival, rooms and breakfast. The shorter edits rearrange your material around the question each guest asks first. Facts such as check-in times, accessibility and parking come from your current policies and are approved before they appear on screen, because they change more often than the décor does.

Bay, centre or Cathedral Road
A waterfront hotel in Cardiff Bay, a block near the castle and a guesthouse in one of the Victorian villas along Cathedral Road in Pontcanna each sell a location as well as a bed. The film should show that location honestly. A view over the water belongs only to rooms that have it, and a stroll to Bute Park is mentioned only when it is genuinely short.
We open with your own exterior and street photographs, and can add rights-cleared images of nearby landmarks presented as the neighbourhood, never as the view from a window. Generated movement around a Victorian façade keeps its bay windows, railings and steps as they are; a building is not tidied into something it is not.

Rooms that match the booking page
Guests compare a film with the photographs on booking platforms, and any mismatch damages trust. We work from images of each room category, labelled by name, and check proportions, bed sizes, bathroom fittings and window positions frame by frame. If a room type has only one usable photograph, its shot stays simple rather than inventing angles nobody can verify.
Breakfast, a bar or a small spa are shown from your own pictures of what is actually served or provided. Seasonal touches, such as a Christmas dining offer or a rugby weekend package, become separate short versions, so the main film stays valid all year and only the offer needs refreshing.

Croeso at reception, on screen too
Some Cardiff hotels greet guests with a Croeso at the desk and use Welsh on signage and menus. If that belongs to your identity, a bilingual film can carry it naturally, with Welsh titles or a Welsh voice checked by a fluent reader. For international guests, subtitles in other languages can follow from the same approved master.
Delivery covers the formats you actually use: a landscape film for your website, vertical cuts for social and booking apps, a silent loop for a lobby screen. Review happens in two rounds directly on the video. How the hotel may use the film, including on partner sites, is set out in the quote before production starts.

Plan the details
Can you show the stadium from our rooftop?
Only if you supply real photographs taken from your rooftop. We never composite a landmark into a view, and wider city imagery is labelled as context.
We only have phone photos. Is that enough?
Often it is, provided they are sharp and well lit. We review them first and tell you which rooms need retaking before production begins.
Can the film mention our match-day packages?
Yes, in a short separate version with your approved wording, so the main hotel film does not date when the package ends.
Do you add guests to the rooms?
There are no generated guests. Your own photographs of people, used with their consent, can appear; otherwise rooms are shown as calm spaces ready for arrival.
Start with your images
Send us photographs of each room type, your shared spaces and the guests you most want to reach, and we will suggest a core film with its cutdowns.
