AI video production in Des Moines: seed commercials for the booking season
Seed companies and independent dealers across central Iowa sell next year's corn and soybeans while this year's harvest is still coming in. The commercial that opens those conversations has to show genetics, agronomy and service without overstating anything a grower can check against a yield monitor. Notlith makes it with AI from your plot photos, bag artwork and approved data, and nothing on screen claims more than your trial results support.

Harvest is still running when the order book opens
Early-order programs push the buying decision into the weeks around harvest, when a grower sits in the combine cab and checks a phone between loads. A spot for that moment is short, readable without sound and specific: one hybrid or variety, the ground it suits, and the dealer to call. A broader brand film can wait for the quieter winter meeting season.
We plan the edit around that calendar. A September cut runs while plots are being harvested, a November version carries your early-pay deadline on a text layer, and a longer piece is ready for winter grower meetings in a co-op office or a church hall. All three share the same footage and grade, so the campaign looks consistent.

Plot signs, bag tags and the numbers behind them
Growers read plot signs closely, and a generated field fills with errors: tassels at the wrong stage, rows at an odd spacing, a soybean canopy that does not match the maturity group on the sign. We build field shots from your own drone and plot photographs and keep generated material to sky, light and transitions.
Yield figures, trait names and herbicide tolerances appear only as written in your approved claims and product labels, with the trial source on screen if your legal team asks for it. We do not invent a yield monitor reading, a bushel count or a comparison with a competitor's hybrid, and regional yield claims stay tied to the locations where they were measured.
A film your dealers can put their own name on
In a dealer network, the person who sells the bag often farms down the road from the buyer. We deliver a version with an open end card so each dealer can add a name, phone number and county in your brand typeface, plus a short note on where logos and disclaimers must stay. A network of local posts stays consistent without a new render for each.
If a grower's word would carry the message, it has to be a real grower, recorded with consent; we do not generate one. Often a phone recording made at the edge of a plot is enough, and we grade and caption it so it sits naturally next to the rest of the film, with the farm name shown only if the grower agrees.

From the State Fair to the Farm Progress Show
August brings agriculture into the city at the Iowa State Fair, and in the years it is held near Boone, the Farm Progress Show draws seed companies to show their lines in the field. A screen in a tent or a stand needs a captioned version that loops cleanly, and a vertical cut that can be sent to a visiting grower afterwards.
In October the World Food Prize brings an international audience to Des Moines, which suits a corporate piece about breeding and research rather than a sales spot. If you want your actual research station, combines in your own fields or a harvest you can document, a real shoot in season will do it better, and we plan the hybrid film around it.

Plan the details
Can the commercial mention yield results?
Only results you supply with their trial source and conditions, approved by your team. We do not round them up, draw comparison charts you have not validated or show numbers that are not in your data.
Can each dealer have a personalized version?
Yes. Dealer names, counties and phone numbers sit on editable text layers, so we can produce a batch of end cards from one spreadsheet without re-rendering the film.
Will the crop look right for the season?
We build field shots from your photographs and check growth stage, row spacing and canopy against them. Generated material is kept to sky, light and transitions.
Can you include a Spanish version?
Yes, with a professional voice and on-screen text checked by a native speaker you nominate, for crews or customers who prefer Spanish. Product names and trait claims stay in the approved wording.
