Give a Wellington event a reason to attend

A strong programme can disappear behind a vague event trailer. For Wellington talks, conferences and cultural gatherings, we put the idea at the centre of the invitation. Notlith assembles organiser-owned images, controlled text and AI-assisted visual treatments remotely, then finishes the edit and audio around a specific audience.

Lead with the conversation

A professional gathering near Wellington's waterfront might bring together people who share a subject but have different reasons to attend. Start with the question they will explore, then explain the format: a talk, a discussion, a showcase or a meeting. A reference to Te Papa can orient a genuine venue brief only when the booking and permitted imagery support it; it does not confer an association on another event. We use the organiser's confirmed facts to establish purpose before adding ambience, so the invitation remains understandable even with sound switched off.

Give contributors ownership of their words

Speaker portraits, quotations and session descriptions need an approval route. Supply the authorised spelling of names, roles and talk titles, along with pronunciation guidance if narration is planned. A quote used as a headline should keep its original meaning. We do not generate a voice that seems to promise an appearance by a real contributor or manufacture an excerpt from an unrecorded panel. Where contributor details remain provisional, the first release can introduce the topic and format, leaving personal announcements for a separately checked version.

Create a small editorial series

Rather than compressing an entire programme into one fast montage, consider a central invitation and distinct topic introductions. Each piece should contain enough context to be encountered alone. A session edit can open on its question, introduce the relevant contributor and point to the programme page. Consistent typography makes the pieces recognisable without forcing identical sentence structures. We establish what information belongs in every version and what can change. This also helps an organiser replace a session without rebuilding material that has already been approved for the wider gathering.

Decide what remains after the event

If you want a later recap, plan how real photographs, recordings and permissions will be collected. Our announcement service does not include a crew attending Wellington. A retrospective must be assembled from evidence of the occasion, not from generated applause or imagined discussion. With authorised sources, we can distinguish an actual quotation from a summary and select moments that preserve context. Before production, the proposal defines the current deliverables, audio approach, captions and review stages; possible follow-up material is treated as a separate editorial requirement, not assumed coverage.

Plan the details

Could one event need different invitations for members and guests?

Yes. Members may understand the context already, while newcomers need an explanation of the organisation and format. We can adapt the opening and registration instructions without changing the confirmed programme.

Can a panel video use still portraits only?

It can introduce the participants with approved portraits and titles. It should be presented as an announcement, not an excerpt of a conversation or evidence that the panel has already met.

What if our event has both online and in-person access?

Provide the exact options and their separate instructions. The film should distinguish them visibly, especially where registration, timing or the available sessions differ. We do not infer access from the venue.

Can you add a recorded introduction from the organiser?

An authorised recording can provide a useful voice. Send the original file and transcript if available, and confirm where it may be used. We assess its quality before including it in the sound plan.

Start with your images

Send the question behind the gathering, the cleared programme and your available imagery. We can make the first invitation as purposeful as the event itself.
