Event video in Hamilton: before Mystery Creek, the balloons or the festival

Hamilton's year has fixed points: Fieldays at Mystery Creek in June, Balloons over Waikato in autumn, the Hamilton Gardens Arts Festival in summer, and a steady run of conferences at Claudelands. Notlith makes the video that comes before the day, the one that persuades people to find your site, book a seat or plan a visit. We work remotely from your site plans, previous photographs and programme.

The exhibitor's problem at Fieldays

For an exhibitor, the hard part is not attracting interest in farming; it is being found among the rows of sites and pavilions. A short pre-show video can tell a contractor or farmer what you are launching, why it is worth a detour, and exactly where your site sits.

We build that from your product photos, your site number and the official layout you are allowed to share. The film ends on something a visitor can act on: a site reference, a demonstration time, a booking link for a meeting. It never implies an endorsement from the organisers.

Autumn mornings and an evening glow

Balloon festivals and garden arts programmes sell an atmosphere, which tempts producers to fill the sky with generated balloons and the lawns with invented crowds. We will not. Where a scene needs to show attendance, it comes from photographs you hold the rights to, captioned with the year.

What we can generate is the quieter material around them: light changing over the lake at Innes Common, a programme unfolding as type, a ticket moving into a phone. That keeps the promise honest while giving the edit pace.

Conferences that need a reason to travel

A sector conference at Claudelands or a university symposium competes with the simpler option of staying in Auckland or Wellington. The invitation has to state who is speaking, what delegates will leave with and how easily the city is reached.

We work from a confirmed speaker list and approved headshots, and we leave unconfirmed names out. Travel information comes from your logistics team, not assumptions about drive times or flights. If the line-up changes, we replace a card rather than rebuild the film.

Fixtures, functions and the edit after

Corporate hospitality around rugby and cricket in Hamilton is sold before the season, often with only last year's photographs. A clean package film can show the suite, the menu and the view of play without promising a result on the field or using team marks you are not licensed to use.

Coverage of the day itself needs a camera operator. If you hire one, we can edit their footage into a recap and fold the strongest moments into next year's invitation. That way the following promotion starts with genuine images of your guests rather than placeholders.

Plan the details

Can you show our real Fieldays site?

Yes, from photographs of your previous stand or renders of the planned one. A render is labelled as a plan so visitors do not expect a finished structure that differs on the day.

Can the video use the event's logo?

Only if the organiser's brand rules allow it for exhibitors or partners. Send us those rules; otherwise we refer to the event by name in plain text.

Will you film the event itself?

No. We have no crew in the Waikato. We can brief your photographer on the shots the recap needs and edit what they capture.

Which formats do organisers usually need?

A landscape version for websites and screens, a vertical one for stories and reels, and sometimes a silent loop for a stand display. We confirm the list when scoping.

Start with your images

Send us the event date, your site or programme details and the photographs you hold, and we will suggest how the invitation should run.
