Social video ads for Cork brands that sound like Cork

Cork has a strong sense of itself, and audiences there notice when an ad sounds as if it was written somewhere else. Notlith makes social video ads remotely for Cork brands, from clothing and drinks to local services, using your photographs and references. We handle the idea, AI-assisted motion, editing, captions and sound, and deliver vertical, square and landscape cuts designed for feeds where most people scroll with the sound off.

Local voice without the caricature

Rebel County pride and a distinctive way of speaking are part of Cork’s identity, and a brand from the city can use them with confidence. The risk is parody: slang dropped into every caption reads as an outsider trying too hard. We match the tone to how your brand already speaks in shop, on packaging and online.

If your customers outside Cork matter as much as those in the city, we write a second caption set in plainer Irish English. The visuals stay the same; only the voice shifts. Any local reference is checked with you, because a joke that works on Patrick Street may not travel to Dublin.

Red and white, with permission

Summer championship hurling and football fill feeds across the county, and brands naturally want to be part of that conversation. Club and county crests, jerseys and match footage belong to their owners, and the GAA protects its marks. We can echo the season through colour and timing without borrowing anyone’s identity.

If you hold a sponsorship, we use the assets and wording your agreement allows. Otherwise, a red-and-white palette, a match-day product or a well-timed caption is enough. We never generate players, supporters or a stadium crowd to suggest an association that does not exist.

The first seconds and the sound-off reader

A social ad has a moment to show what it is selling. We open on the product or the offer, then add context. Captions are written for reading, not as a transcript, and sized for the safe zones of each platform so that buttons and usernames never cover them.

From one master we cut 9:16 for Stories and Reels, 4:5 or 1:1 for feeds and 16:9 where needed. Each crop is reviewed separately: a jacket cut off at the collar or a can with a half-visible label is worse than a simpler framing. Product details stay faithful in every version.

Bursts around the Cork calendar

Back-to-college in September around UCC and MTU, the Jazz Festival weekend, Christmas shopping on Patrick Street and Oliver Plunkett Street: Cork has natural moments when an ad can be more topical. We prepare a core edit and replaceable openings so you can run a variant for each moment without a new production.

We do not create fake user-generated videos, invented reviews or AI people posing as customers. If you have real customer content, with permission, we can edit it into the series. Platforms, durations and the number of variants are agreed in the quote.

Plan the details

Can you write the ad copy as well as the video?

Yes, captions and on-screen text are part of the work. Primary text for the ad itself can be drafted too, following your brand voice and the platform’s limits.

Do you run the ads?

No. We deliver the files; your team or agency handles targeting, budgets and publishing. We can prepare variants for testing if you plan them in advance.

Can the ads use Irish?

Yes, from wording you have approved. A cúpla focal in a caption or a fully Irish version both work, provided a fluent speaker has checked it.

Can you label AI-generated content?

Yes. We can add a discreet label, and we tell you which shots used generated motion so you can follow each platform’s disclosure settings.

Start with your images

Send product photographs, your brand guidelines and the moments you want to advertise around, and we will propose a core edit with its variants.
