AI video production in Birmingham: advertising films for makers and retailers

Birmingham built its name on making things precisely, from the workshops of the Jewellery Quarter to the car plants on the edge of the city. Notlith's AI video production treats your product with the same respect. We take the photographs you already have and turn them into a cinematic advertising film, written, directed, generated, edited, graded and scored by our team working remotely, with no studio hire and no crew to book.

Precision first, effects second

A ring photographed on a bench in Hockley carries information a model cannot guess: the setting, the hallmark, the way the metal catches light. We build the film around that evidence. Your images are the reference, and every generated frame is compared with them before it reaches you. Those details are what a buyer zooms in on, and what a careless generator quietly rewrites.

If a stone changes cut or a clasp appears that does not exist, the shot is rebuilt. Jewellers, watch sellers and makers of small premium goods are the clearest case, but the rule applies to a sofa from a Digbeth showroom or a sauce from a Balti Triangle kitchen just as much. The product on screen has to be the product a customer receives.

Writing the campaign before generating it

A commercial needs a reason to exist. We agree on that reason in a short call, then write a script that can be read aloud in the time the ad will last. A treatment follows with references, colour and camera language, so you can judge the direction before a single shot is made. Changing course at that stage costs minutes; changing it after rendering costs days.

This order matters in a city whose advertisers range from family firms on the Soho Road to brands launched from studios in the Custard Factory. Each needs its own register. Starting from the idea, rather than from a library of generated clips, is what stops the film looking like everyone else's AI advert this season.

Cuts for every screen and community

From the master we cut vertical and square versions designed for their own frame, with titles reset rather than squeezed. If the campaign has to land around Diwali, Eid or the Christmas run on New Street, we plan those versions together so the timing works across channels. Each cut is checked on an actual phone before delivery.

Birmingham is young and multilingual, and a film can carry captions or voice in Punjabi, Urdu or Bengali as easily as in English. We prepare these from the approved master and ask a fluent reviewer on your side to sign off the language. Getting a single word wrong in a community you are trying to reach costs more than the effort of checking it.

Where we would send you elsewhere

If the heart of the ad is a real person, an engineer at work or a crowd at Villa Park, a live shoot is the right tool and we will tell you that early. Generating people to stand in for real customers or staff is something we do not do. Inventing a workforce would mislead the very people the brand wants to win over.

AI is strong where the subject is the object itself: material, light, motion and atmosphere built around a product you can photograph. We list which shots are synthetic, recommend clear labelling where viewers might assume real footage, and set out the usage rights for the finished film in your quote before the work starts. Clarity on those points protects you.

A place to show off? We turn it into a film.

Our films go beyond products: dining room, terrace, suite or office, we showcase your space from your own images.

Plan the details

We are a Jewellery Quarter business with only phone photos. Is that enough?

Often, yes, provided the images are sharp and well lit from several angles, including close detail. If something essential is missing, we will ask for a specific extra shot rather than guess.

Can the film mention our heritage or hallmark?

Yes, if you can confirm it. We only state facts you supply and verify, such as founding year or assay marks, and never invent history. Unverified claims stay out of the script.

Do you produce versions in South Asian languages?

We can prepare caption or voice versions in Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali and others. A fluent reviewer you appoint approves the final wording before delivery. Subtitles are timed to the cut, not pasted on.

How is feedback handled?

Two review rounds are built in, first on the cut and then on the finish. You comment directly on the video, and we confirm each change before applying it.
