AI video production in Glasgow: adverts with a Glasgow attitude, made from your photos

Glasgow does not respond well to being sold to. A city with a strong music scene, an art school tradition and an appetite for good food expects advertising with some character and no pretence. Notlith offers AI video production built on that principle. We take your own photographs and references and turn them into a finished commercial, with script, art direction, generated shots, edit, grade, music and sound all produced remotely.

Character over polish

A venue in the Merchant City, a vintage shop off Byres Road and a streetwear label in Finnieston do not need the same glossy treatment. We begin with tone: how the brand talks, what it would never say, which references feel right. Then comes one idea and a script tight enough for a fifteen-second slot.

The look is designed from those references before anything is generated. Lighting, grain, colour and pacing are agreed in a treatment, so the AI imagery follows a direction that sounds like you. Glaswegians spot a borrowed style quickly, and an advert that feels like it was made for somewhere else will be ignored, or worse, mocked.

Real venue, real product, no invented crowd

A club or a gig venue is the classic temptation for synthetic advertising: why not generate a packed floor and a band mid-chorus? Because the people would not be real, and your regulars would know it. We build atmosphere from your own interior photos, light and texture, and keep invented faces out of the frame.

The same discipline applies to products. A bottle, a menu dish or a jacket is reconstructed from your images and checked frame by frame for shape, colour and label text. We will not add a dish you do not serve or a detail your garment lacks. Synthetic shots are listed for you, with a recommendation on AI labelling where it is relevant.

Made for the formats people actually see

Most venue and retail adverts in Glasgow live on phones, so the vertical version gets as much attention as the widescreen master. Square edits follow for feeds, and each version is recomposed, not cropped, with titles placed where interface buttons will not cover them. Sound is mixed so the film still works with the volume down, which is how most of it will be watched on the Subway.

Timing matters too. A campaign for Celtic Connections in January, the West End Festival in June or the Christmas trade along Buchanan Street needs its cutdowns planned before the date, not after. We schedule two review rounds around your launch so feedback lands while there is still time to act on it. Late feedback is the commonest reason a launch slips.

Where a camera tells it better

If the advert is about the people behind the bar, the band on stage or the regulars who keep the place going, film them. We say so early and help you shape the brief for a crew if that is the right call. Honest advice on that point usually saves a client more than any tool could.

AI is the better tool when the hero is something you can photograph cleanly and the budget or schedule rules out a production day: a can, a dish, a garment, an empty room waiting for the night to start. The rights to use the finished film, including outdoor or venue screens, are written into your quote before production begins.

Plan the details

Can you make an advert for a club night or gig?

Yes, built from photographs of your actual venue, lighting and branding. We do not generate audiences or performers, and any artist line-up comes from information you confirm.

Will the film look like typical AI content?

Not if the treatment is done properly. We design the look from your references first, then direct the generation toward it, and we correct or discard anything that looks generic.

What do you need from a Glasgow restaurant?

Clear photos of the room, the dishes you want to feature, your logo and any brand colours. Dishes must be on your current menu; we do not invent food.

Can we use the advert on venue screens and socials?

Yes. We deliver widescreen, vertical and square versions, and the permitted uses are listed in the quote so you know exactly where the film can run.
