Product film in Tauranga: made in the Bay, sold elsewhere
Some food producers, drink makers and equipment firms around Tauranga sell well beyond the Bay of Plenty, to buyers who will never walk through the orchard or the workshop. A product film has to stand in for that visit. Notlith makes product films remotely from your packshots, artwork and specifications, with AI-assisted scenes, editing, colour and sound, and the product kept exactly as it is.
Remote production · From your photos

One label for home, another for export
A jar of honey, a bottle of avocado oil or a pouch of dried fruit may carry one label in New Zealand and another overseas. Wording, ingredients and even the mark can differ. The film must match the version the buyer will actually receive, so we ask at the outset which market each edit is for.
Label artwork is treated as fixed, supplied graphics rather than something image generation is allowed to redraw. For an overseas buyer, we can add titles in a language you provide and have checked by a native speaker. The product never changes between versions; only the words around it do.

Colour a buyer will check
Fresh produce is judged by colour. Green and gold kiwifruit look different when cut, and an avocado's skin and flesh tell a buyer about ripeness. If a film shows fruit as an ingredient or a serving suggestion, the colour has to stay believable. Oversaturated grading is a quick way to lose a trade buyer's confidence.
We grade against your reference photographs and hold the same white balance through every shot. Any generated fruit, leaf or orchard backdrop is reviewed for shape and colour, and replaced if it drifts. Where a variety is a protected brand owned by someone else, its name and look stay out unless you hold permission.

Claims are checked before they move
Words such as natural, pure or healthy invite questions from regulators and retailers, and so do pictures. A splash of juice can suggest freshness, a glowing jar a health benefit. We go through the script with you to separate the claims you can support from imagery that would imply something your label does not say.
Rules on food claims differ between New Zealand, Australia and other export markets, and your advisers are the right people to interpret them. Our job is to ensure the film says no more than they approve. Unsupported ideas are removed at storyboard stage rather than softened in the edit.

Fittings, trailers and workshop goods
Tauranga also has boatbuilders, marine engineers and manufacturers in industrial areas at the Mount and in Tauriko. Their products, from deck fittings to trailers, are bought by people who look closely at welds, finishes and dimensions. A film for them should open on the whole object and slow down where a specialist would.
We work from technical drawings and photographs of every face you can supply. Dimensions on screen come from your specification sheet, never from estimation. If the item is shown on the water, we use licensed imagery or an openly fictional setting rather than a recognisable spot in the harbour it has never been.

Plan the details
Can the film show our orchard?
Yes, from your own photographs. We will not generate an orchard that resembles yours, and staff appear only with their consent.
Do you need the product physically?
No. We work from photographs, artwork and specifications. If an angle is missing, we ask for it before planning any shot that depends on it.
Can one film serve retail and trade buyers?
A shared master can, with two endings: one pointing to where to buy, the other to wholesale contacts or a catalogue you supply.
What about New Zealand-made statements?
Origin wording must be accurate and approved by you. We use the text you provide and do not add flags, symbols or slogans that imply more.
