Video production company for Norwich: four briefs this city could send us
A Norwich laboratory, a charity caring for a medieval church, a boatyard on the Broads and a shop in the Lanes would each ask a video company for something different. Notlith is a remote hybrid studio: we work from your photographs, documents and references, with creative direction, AI-assisted image and motion work, editing, colour and sound. Here is how four typical briefs from this city might run.
Remote production · From your photos

A plant science group explaining its work to the public
The institutes at Norwich Research Park study crops, microbes and food, and their funders often expect researchers to explain their work beyond the lab. Microscopy, field-trial photographs and diagrams already exist; what is missing is a sequence a non-scientist can follow.
We draft a script with the researchers, animate only what their data and diagrams support, and send each frame back for checking. Illustrative models are labelled. If the story depends on a researcher speaking to camera, we recommend recording that properly, and we can edit around the recording.

A heritage charity with an appeal to launch
Norwich has an unusual number of medieval churches inside its old walls, and several are cared for by charities and trusts that rely on appeals. An appeal film has to show the building, explain what the money will repair and avoid overstating urgency.
We work from the trust's photographs, surveys and approved wording. Damage is shown as it is, never dramatised, and any reconstruction of the finished repair is labelled as an illustration. Fundraising regulations and the charity's own policies guide the language, and the trustees approve the final script. A shorter cut for a donation page or a talk in the church itself can follow from the same edit.

A Broads business before the season
A boat hire firm or waterside café on the Broads might plan its marketing in late winter, when the rivers are quiet. It needs a film ready before Easter that shows the boats, the facilities and the water, built without waiting for good weather or a crew booking.
We use the firm's existing photographs and a shot list for anything missing. Generated light and water bring the scenes together, but every boat, mooring and building matches what was photographed. A separate safety or booking explainer can be made from the same material, and short seasonal cuts can follow once the first boats are out and new photographs arrive.

A Lanes shop with a phone full of pictures
An independent retailer around St Benedicts Street may have hundreds of phone photographs and no time to sort them. We select the usable ones, request a few more, and build a short film for the website and several vertical cuts for social media.
Because we have no Norwich office and no local crew, the process runs by email and video call, with written review rounds. Formats, versions, revisions and usage rights are set out in the quote before any work starts, so there are no surprises.

Plan the details
Do you film in Norwich?
No. We do not send crews. If a project needs live footage, we say so and can edit material shot by a local videographer.
Can you work with our in-house designer?
Yes. We use your brand files and can share project files, timelines and drafts so your designer can check consistency.
How do reviews work?
You receive a script, then a rough cut, then a final version, with written comments at each stage. The number of rounds is agreed in the quote.
Is AI content labelled?
We recommend labelling AI-assisted content where platforms or your policies ask for it, and nothing generated is presented as a real photograph of a place or person.
Start with your images
Send us a short description of your project, who it is for and a folder of the material you already have, and we will reply with a proposal.
