AI video production in Dubai: furniture films that keep the stitching honest
Showrooms in Al Quoz and the design studios around d3 sell objects people want to touch before they buy. Notlith makes advertising films for furniture and interiors brands from the photos and samples they already have: concept, script, AI-assisted imagery, edit, grade and sound design, with no crew and no studio hire. The aim is a hybrid film that carries the feel of a chair or a sofa without inventing a single detail.

A campaign needs a point of view, not a catalogue
A collection launch can include forty pieces, three fabric ranges and a story about the designer. The film should pick one: the curve of an armchair in evening light, the weight of a walnut frame, the way a modular sofa adapts to a smaller apartment in JLT or Business Bay. We build the script around that single observation and leave the full range to the website and the showroom floor.
Before generating anything we share a look reference: lighting, palette, pacing and a music direction. For a Dubai Design Week moment in November the tone may be editorial and quiet; for Dubai Shopping Festival it can be livelier, with clear product names on screen. Agreeing the look early means the generated material starts close to where the brand wants to land.

Product fidelity, frame by frame
Generative models like to smooth things. They round off a tapered leg, merge two cushions, lose a contrast piping. We feed the system your packshots, fabric swatches and dimension drawings, then check every frame against them: seam placement, leg count, armrest profile, the grain direction of the timber. Where a detail will not hold, we composite the real photograph instead of accepting a near likeness.
We also refuse to show features a piece does not have. A recliner mechanism, a hidden storage drawer or a performance fabric only appears if your specification confirms it. Rooms around the product can be imagined, but they will not borrow a Burj Khalifa view or a Palm Jumeirah skyline that suggests a location the brand has no connection with.

One master, many screens and languages
From one approved master we prepare 16:9 for YouTube and in-store screens, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Snapchat, and 1:1 for marketplace listings. Dubai audiences read Arabic and English, and a furniture brand may also want a version for Russian or Hindi speaking customers. Each language gets its own supers and voice, checked by a native speaker rather than machine output.
During Ramadan, homeware advertising often shifts towards hosting: majlis seating, a dining table set for iftar, guests arriving after sunset. We can prepare that variant from the same product assets, adjusting light, set dressing and copy so it feels considered rather than a seasonal sticker placed on a standard ad. The product itself stays identical; only the world around it changes with the month.
Brief, review and honest limits
Send product photos on a neutral background, a few lifestyle images you like, the brand book and any must-say lines. We work in rounds: script, look frames, first cut, final grade. Comments are gathered in one place with timecodes, and the delivered film carries an AI disclosure suited to the platform. Usage rights are stated in the quote, not assumed.
When the selling point is purely tactile, a velvet's sheen changing as you move or the softness of a bouclé, a real macro shoot can still do it better. We will tell you if that is the case, and a hybrid film can then combine a short filmed insert with generated room scenes, so the budget goes where it matters most.

Plan the details
Do you need the physical furniture?
No. Clean product photos from several angles, fabric swatches photographed in daylight and the dimension sheet are usually enough. If a piece has a mechanism, a short phone video helps.
Can the film show our showroom in Al Quoz?
Only if we work from real photos of it. We will not generate a fictional version of a real address. A neutral imagined interior is often more flexible for campaigns that also run outside the UAE.
How many rounds of feedback are included?
The number of review rounds is agreed in the quote. In practice the script and look frames take most of the discussion, and later rounds focus on timing, colour and wording.
Can we reuse the film for a GCC-wide campaign?
Yes, as long as the usage you need is written into the quote. Arabic and English versions travel well across the region, and copy can be adapted for Saudi or Kuwaiti audiences.
