Notlith · Auckland

An Auckland product film that keeps the item recognisable

When a launch film looks different from the item on the product page, attention becomes confusion. For Auckland brands and distributors, we centre the edit on a recognisable article and a clear range structure. Production is remote: you supply photographs and approved artwork; we add creative direction, AI-assisted imagery, editing and sound.

Choose the item that introduces the range

A distributor supplying Auckland retailers may have several pack sizes, finishes or variants to explain. Select one hero item before building the visual world. Its full silhouette, label and identifying features establish what the viewer is looking at. Other references can enter as named alternatives rather than a flurry of similar objects. A hypothetical launch for a Newmarket retail audience could emphasise a premium presentation, but the district itself does not prove positioning, availability or a stockist relationship. Those details come from the brand's actual distribution and product information.

Create a reference set that prevents guesswork

Send front, side and detail views where available, plus the final label or packaging artwork. Note which colours are approved and which surfaces behave differently under light. Reflective caps and transparent bottles are especially easy to misread from a single photograph. We flag missing evidence before proposing angles that would reveal an unseen surface. AI may help with atmosphere or restrained motion, but cannot decide the construction of the product. Essential text is handled as controlled artwork when generated lettering would distort a name, ingredient or specification.

Let the buying question decide the sequence

A product-page visitor may want a calm examination of the finish; someone seeing a launch announcement first needs to understand what the object is. These uses call for different openings. We can build the main film around identification, one supported feature and a clear range choice, then plan shorter versions around individual questions. Avoid using a visual effect to imply a performance benefit that has not been established. A burst of water, for example, should not casually suggest resistance testing. The brand approves all functional and origin claims before the final edit.

Match the finish to the purchase destination

Compare the closing image with the item that appears after the viewer clicks. Names, colours and pack quantities should agree. A portrait crop must retain the whole product, including its base, before any intentional detail shot. We review AI outputs for extra seams, changed closures and unstable logos, replacing frames that cannot meet the reference. Editing, sound design and colour treatment give the sequence its pace, while the agreed scope sets duration, placements and review stages. We do not present a visual concept as an actual demonstration of product performance.

Plan the details

Can one film introduce an imported range?

Yes. Provide the correct brand assets and permission to use them. The script should distinguish the Auckland distributor's role from manufacture and avoid suggesting a New Zealand origin that the goods do not have.

What if the pack design is about to change?

Choose which approved version the campaign will sell. We can plan separate releases, but mixing old photographs with new artwork can create a product that never existed and should be resolved before production.

Could the film show several bottle sizes?

Supply images or verified dimensions for each. We can identify sizes with controlled captions; visual scale should not be inferred by independently enlarging objects until they happen to fit the composition.

Do you need the physical product shipped to you?

This offer is built around supplied photography rather than a physical studio shoot. We first review whether the available images support the intended treatment and request missing angles when they are necessary.
