Product films in Galway for crafted goods and specialist food
A Claddagh ring, a hand-finished knit, a jar of smoked fish, a piece of Connemara marble: many Galway products carry a story that buyers care about as much as the object. Notlith makes product films from your own photographs and references, adding AI-assisted motion, editing, grading and sound remotely. The object stays exactly as made. The story stays exactly as true.

Heritage objects need exact detail
The Claddagh ring has a recognisable design: two hands, a heart and a crown. A jeweller's film cannot afford to soften those elements into something generic, and buyers who know the symbol will notice. We rebuild the piece from close, well-lit photographs and check each frame for proportions, hallmarks and finish before it goes to review.
The same applies to knitwear. Cable patterns, stitch texture and the weight of the yarn tell the viewer whether a garment is hand-knitted or machine-made. We do not let generated motion alter a pattern or invent a fold the fabric would not make. If a move distorts the stitches, we drop it and use a slower edit.

What 'made in Galway' can and cannot mean
Origin is part of the value, so it must be stated exactly. If a sweater is designed in Galway but knitted elsewhere, the film says that or says nothing about origin at all. If wool comes from a particular source, we name it only when you can confirm it. Imagery follows the same rule: no generated cottage on an island that the product never saw.
We would rather build atmosphere from genuine elements: your workshop, your hands at the bench, the shop counter on a city-centre street, the packaging. Those photographs carry more credibility than a sweeping Atlantic landscape, and they are yours.

Food and drink from the west coast
Galway Bay is known for its oysters, and the county has a long list of smokehouses, bakers and small drinks producers selling at the weekend market by St Nicholas' Church and further afield. A product film here usually needs appetite and provenance in the same thirty seconds.
Labels are reproduced from your files, with ingredients, allergens and any protected names left untouched. For alcohol, Irish advertising rules shape what the script can say and show, and we write within them. We avoid generated pouring and steam when they change the texture of the product, and choose clean, honest close-ups instead.

One master, several shopfronts
Many Galway makers sell in three places at once: a physical shop, a website and stockists abroad, often in the United States. A landscape master for the website, a vertical cut for social and a short loop for product pages can all come from one approved edit, recomposed for each frame.
Packaging changes, new colourways and seasonal gift sets can be added later as variations on the master rather than new productions. The scope, number of review rounds and usage of the films across channels and countries are written into the quote before we start.

Plan the details
Which photographs suit a product film?
Sharp images on a neutral background from several angles, plus close-ups of details such as hallmarks, stitching or labels. Lifestyle images help too, if you hold the rights to them.
Can you show the product being worn or used?
If you supply photographs of real models who have consented, yes. We do not create synthetic people and present them as your customers.
Is a studio shoot sometimes better?
Yes. For reflective silver, fine knit texture or food that must look freshly made, a good local photographer often gives us better source material, and we will say so.
Can you add US-market versions?
Yes. Captions, measurements and end cards can be adapted for American buyers from the same master, with wording you confirm.
