Notlith · Ottawa
Real estate video that keeps Ottawa properties recognizable
A property presentation succeeds when viewers can connect what they see to the place they may visit. Notlith turns your Ottawa property photographs into a structured film through remote hybrid production, including AI-assisted motion, editing and sound. We work from documented rooms and approved listing information. The result adds a visual sequence to your photographs without claiming to be a measured tour or an on-site recording.
Remote production · From your photos

Start with the questions a viewer brings to the listing
A buyer considering an apartment in Centretown may need to understand the living area, storage and relationship between rooms. Someone exploring a house elsewhere in Ottawa may focus on a different arrangement. We ask which features actually distinguish the property, then select images that answer those questions. The neighbourhood name cannot stand in for the home’s own characteristics.
An orderly presentation might introduce the exterior, main room and supporting spaces, but only if the available references support that order. A doorway in one photograph should not imply a connection to another room simply because the edit looks smooth.

Control the geometry rather than exaggerate the camera move
Large motion can make a space feel dynamic while quietly changing its proportions. Windows may shift, a wall may recede or a mirror may acquire a false reflection. We use restrained movement and compare the resulting frames to the supplied references. If a shot cannot maintain the room’s structure, we simplify the treatment.
Provide original wide views and several angles where possible. Name the rooms, explain adjoining spaces and mark photographs that use unusually wide lenses. Floor plans can clarify relationships, but the film itself remains a presentation rather than an accurate measuring tool.

Label what exists and what is proposed
An empty room and a proposed furnishing scheme answer different questions. They should be shown as different states, with clear wording when the latter is conceptual. We can discuss a visualization from approved plans or references, but it must not suggest that furniture, finishes or building work are already present.
Photographs of the Ottawa River or Rideau Canal can provide area context when legitimately supplied and relevant. They cannot be edited into a window to suggest a view the property does not have. Distances, access descriptions and amenities need separate confirmation by the listing representative.

Deliver a useful presentation for the listing channel
A detailed property page and a vertical announcement need different emphasis. The first may give several rooms breathing space; the second can introduce the property and direct viewers to the full listing. We protect useful edges and openings when planning each aspect ratio rather than cropping away the information that makes the room understandable.
You approve the address, property description and any on-screen specifications. We check visual continuity and the distinction between current and proposed imagery. The scope sets durations, versions and review rounds without assuming a faster sale, a higher price or a particular number of enquiries.

Plan the details
Can you turn one room photo into a complete walkthrough?
A single view cannot reliably establish the unseen layout. We can develop limited motion within what it documents, but a continuous walkthrough requires appropriate source material and should not be fabricated from guesses.
Can an agent supply professional listing photographs?
Yes, if the proposed video use is authorized by the rights holder. Include original files and any usage restrictions. Credit requirements or limits on modification should be known before production begins.
Will you remove a permanent defect from the image?
We should not create a misleading property representation. Tell us which elements are temporary and which belong to the building. Material alterations that change how a viewer understands the property need to be excluded or explicitly identified.
Can a film be updated when the listing changes?
Potential updates can be planned by keeping price and short-lived terms separate from the main visual sequence. The quote should identify any requested editable versions or later update work; these are not automatically included.
