The project in detail

A Brussels concept: A fictional Brussels chocolatier.

Your film

In Brussels, one visual story may need different voices for different audiences. We start with the real product, place or interface, then decide what belongs in the French, Dutch or English version. The film is prepared and delivered remotely from photographs supplied by the client.

Local context and uses

The European quarter, Sablon, Dansaert and the hospitality streets around Ixelles all suggest different briefs. A federation may need to explain a complex service, while a chocolatier needs its actual praline to stay recognisable. A single generic city film would serve neither.

The Brussels-Capital Region had 1,255,795 residents on 1 January 2025 according to IBSA. This regional figure is not a count of potential clients.

Products. Stage the genuine chocolate, fashion item or design object without changing its form.

Venues. Use the real photographs of a restaurant, hotel or event space.

Services and apps. Build a concise story around approved documents and screens; plan each language separately.

Story ideas
  • A photographed praline moves from a marble worktop to its box and then a shop window, with no invented product.
  • A European-quarter association introduces its work through approved public documents and a carefully scoped English voice.
The method

We serve clients in Brussels entirely remotely. Send at least 10 real photographs and, if useful, an optional PDF. If you have fewer images, request a tailored quote. We agree the scenario before producing the shots. Our hybrid production shapes those shots from your images; we then handle editing and colour grading.

The films shown here use a 16:9 landscape frame. Delivery format is selected in the quote. No filming or on-site visit is included.

What the service does not cover

Notlith makes films exclusively from photographs, screenshots and documents supplied by the client. We do not film interviews, events or work processes on location.

Write both language versions into the brief

Begin with what each audience should understand. The object can remain identical on screen while its introductory sentence changes length. The edit needs to allow for that difference. Review trading names, booking information and the closing signature separately so a fluent translation does not alter the proposition.

When a human performer is requested, specify the regional voice. Netherlands Dutch is not automatically the answer to a Belgian Dutch brief. Availability, licensing and the chosen variant are confirmed in the quote, without publishing unvalidated historic rates.

A Brussels project without a set

The Brussels Film Commission explains arrangements for filming in the region. This reference, recorded in our 29 September 2026 brief, concerns actual capture. Consult it for a shoot involving public space or installations; we do not turn its procedures into a universal timing promise.

Notlith works from photographs. No crew arrives to record an interview or street scene. You still need appropriate rights to the images and the objects or spaces they represent.

Three different Brussels briefs

A product brand can reveal material and packaging, with French and Dutch signatures agreed in advance. A business hotel can connect its actual arrival and guest spaces. A B2B application can explain a task through demonstration screens without exposing company data. Jacket and Fragrance are fictional style references, not Brussels client campaigns.

Choose the product, venue or app approach for your material. Current prices are supplied by the common grid; invoicing is confirmed in the quote. The remote process can also serve Wallonia and Flanders. See Belgium and Lille without inferring a Brussels office or an included visit.

Local questions

Can French and Dutch versions be prepared together?

They can be scoped together in the quote. Sentences, visible wording and timing are adapted to each audience.

Will the Dutch voice be Belgian?

Specify that variant. A Netherlands voice is not automatically substituted; availability and rights are confirmed.

Must a shoot be organised in Brussels?

Not for the Notlith method, which uses your photographs. For actual recording, consult the Brussels Film Commission and a filming provider.

Do Belgian projects use a separate price grid?

Comparable projects use the site's euro base grid. The quote confirms scope and invoicing for your business.

Can we meet at a Brussels office?

No. The project is prepared remotely from supplied files and information. We do not claim a local office.
