The project in detail
A Lille concept: A fictional independent restaurant in Old Lille.
Your film
For a Lille brand selling across borders, the finished film can speak to customers much further away. We plan and deliver every project remotely. We build the story from your actual photographs, then edit and grade the film by hand.
Local context and uses
The shops and restaurants of Old Lille, the market culture around Wazemmes and the retail businesses of Roubaix and Tourcoing all have different stories to tell. An English-language film can help a local product or destination travel beyond the region without suggesting that its physical details have changed.
The municipality had 238,246 residents in the 2023 Insee reference population. This is population context, not a count of potential clients.
Product films. Show the real label, shape and finish of a fashion, food or home object; change the setting, not the item.
Venue films. Use photographs of a dining room, storefront or hotel to guide an overseas visitor through the space.
Service and app films. Turn a complex offer or a genuine interface into a short, legible sequence.
Story ideas
- A restaurant in Old Lille moves from a morning storefront photograph to an evening table, with no service interrupted.
- A design object from Roubaix stays identical while the light and room around it change.
A scenario
An imagined concept, not client work: an independent Old Lille restaurant supplies authorised photographs of its dining room, storefront and dishes. The scenario moves from the texture of a plate to an evening arrival. The menu details and venue stay true to the supplied images; no real service, guest or named restaurant is portrayed as a Notlith commission.
The method
We serve clients in Lille entirely remotely. Send at least 10 real photographs and, if useful, an optional PDF. If you have fewer images, request a tailored quote. We agree the scenario before producing the shots. Our hybrid production shapes those shots from your images; we then handle editing and colour grading.
The films shown here use a 16:9 landscape frame. Delivery format is selected in the quote. No filming or on-site visit is included.
What the service does not cover
Notlith makes films exclusively from photographs, screenshots and documents supplied by the client. We do not film interviews, events or work processes on location.
A Lille origin with a remote way of working
A local business does not need a studio appointment to prepare a Notlith film. We do not receive visitors in a public studio or arrange a filming day at your premises. The project starts with the same practical questions wherever your team is: who will watch, what should they understand and what real material can support that message?
Clear phone photographs may be useful alongside professional images when you hold the necessary rights. Several views of one angle are less informative than a complementary set showing shape, materials and essential details. Prepare around ten references where possible. If you have fewer, explain what is missing in your quote request so that the proposed scope reflects the actual material.
From a restaurant interior to a software journey
The Lille metropolitan area has an established creative environment, represented by organisations such as Plaine Images. This editorial reference, recorded in our 29 September 2026 brief, is context only. Notlith does not claim membership or a partnership. Our work concerns the finished advertising film a business can build from its own photographs.
Consider an independent restaurant with images of its brick interior, frontage and food. A sequence can start on a dish and open into the room without pretending to record an evening service. Our Restaurant concept uses a fictional setting inspired by London; it is not evidence of a Lille restaurant commission. A local boutique has different material: cut, fastenings, texture and packaging, all kept recognisable throughout an imagined scene.
A software launch needs a clear user journey. Booking or payment screens with fictional data can become a short narrative rather than a succession of unreadable interfaces. The Application concept demonstrates that approach in an invented florist setting. Its purpose is to explain the visual method, not to claim that the displayed company uses a real client product.
Timing a collection or a commercial moment
A shop planning around the Braderie may want one selected object to carry the campaign. The film can show its finish and available variations without inventing a discount, a crowd or a sales result. Tell us the actual publication date and the person responsible for approval. A seasonal idea is not a guaranteed delivery slot: the schedule is confirmed with the project scope.
For a broader company film, places and products can support a story about the business. They cannot replace an authentic employee interview. When faces and testimony are essential, hire a filming team. We do not generate staff who speak for your organisation. Voice-over can guide the narrative, but every statement about your activity remains subject to your factual review.
Preparing French and Dutch versions
Language planning works best before the edit is fixed. The same meaning may need a different sentence length or rhythm in Dutch. Establish the required voice, on-screen words and final signature together. A requested human voice and its regional variant are confirmed in the quote rather than assumed to be available at a fixed rate.
The shared euro pricing grid appears in the cards on this page. Your quote confirms scope and applicable invoicing; it does not copy a historic price from an article. For related needs, see Brussels, Paris and Senlis. Each is served through the same remote workflow, with its own editorial context.
Local questions
Can we meet at a Lille studio?
We do not offer public studio visits. Photographs, the brief and approvals are shared remotely.
Is the demonstration restaurant in Lille?
No. It is an invented-brand concept with a London-inspired setting, not a Lille client commission.
Can a film support a Braderie campaign?
Include that target in the brief. Availability and timing are confirmed in the quote before a release date is promised.
What screens should a Lille app business prepare?
Choose one demonstration journey and fictional data. Remove personal information and account access details before supplying files.
Can the film address Belgian customers too?
Specify the audiences and languages required. Wording, regional voice variant and relevant rights are reviewed in the quote.
