Restaurant and Bar Video in Grand Rapids, from taproom to market stall
Food and drink businesses in Grand Rapids work on very different scales: a taproom with a rotating list, a counter inside the Downtown Market, a dining room on Bridge Street or in East Hills. Notlith makes their films remotely from photographs of the dishes, drinks and room, adding AI-assisted motion, editing, color and sound. What guests see on screen is what they will be served.

Taprooms with a list that changes every week
A brewpub's draft list may change faster than any film can be produced. Instead of featuring six named beers that will be gone next month, we build the film around what stays: the room, the bar, the brewhouse visible behind glass, the food that anchors the menu. Seasonal releases then get short inserts that can be swapped.
Pours, foam and color are generated only around your real glassware and matched to photographs of the actual beer. People drinking are clearly adults, and the film avoids implying unlimited consumption. If you take part in the Beer City Ale Trail, the closing card can mention it in the wording the program allows.

A counter inside the Downtown Market
Vendors in the market hall work in compact spaces where the counter, the display and the person serving are most of the story. A vertical film suits that: the case of pastries or the cutting board in the foreground, the hall softly behind. We frame from your photographs so neighboring stalls and their branding stay out of the shot.
Market customers often decide on the spot, so the film should answer a few questions quickly: what you sell, how it is prepared, whether it can be taken away. Hours and location inside the building go on the final card. We do not suggest a market endorsement unless the market management has approved it.

Neighborhood dining on Bridge Street and in East Hills
A dinner restaurant on the West Side or along Cherry Street sells an evening more than a dish. The film can follow that evening from your images: the first drink at the bar, a shared plate, the dining room filling under warm light. We keep the real tables, the real lighting fixtures and the real view onto the street.
Plates are reproduced from your photography, plated the way the kitchen actually serves them. If the chef sources from growers at the Fulton Street Farmers Market, that can be named once the restaurant confirms it. Menus change, so we keep dish names off the main edit and place them in a short companion cut.

Two short seasons: patio and winter menu
West Michigan patios open for a limited stretch of the year, and the shift to winter menus is just as distinct. Rather than one film trying to cover both, we suggest two compact edits made from the same session: one for the outdoor months, one for heavier dishes, fireplaces or a holiday program.
A heated patio or an enclosed terrace appears only if it exists and is photographed. We never generate summer foliage around a terrace captured in October. Seasonal edits also keep paid campaigns honest, because the ad running in February will show the room guests will actually walk into.

Plan the details
Can you work from phone photos of our dishes?
Often, yes, if they are sharp and well lit. We review them first and tell you which dishes need a better image before they can carry a close-up.
Can the film show the bartender making a cocktail?
Not as generated footage of a real staff member. We can animate the drink itself, or edit a short clip your team records behind the bar.
Which formats do restaurants usually request?
Vertical edits for stories and reels, a square cut for feeds, a horizontal version for the website and a silent loop for a screen near the entrance.
Can we update the film when the menu changes?
Yes. We structure the edit so dish inserts and text cards can be replaced without rebuilding the whole film. The scope for later updates is set out in the quote.
