AI video production in Jeddah: cooling campaigns for a humid coast

On the Red Sea coast, summer is about humidity as much as heat, and that is when air conditioners and home appliances are advertised hardest in Jeddah. Notlith makes these campaign films remotely, from your product photos, spec sheets and showroom pictures. We write the idea and script, generate the rooms and the light with AI, then edit, grade and add sound, while the unit itself stays exactly the model a buyer will find on the shelf.

Selling relief from sticky evenings

A cooling campaign in Jeddah rarely wins on a list of BTU ratings. What people recognise is the moment the apartment becomes bearable again: coming home from the Corniche with damp clothes, a majlis that is finally comfortable for guests after maghrib, a child's room that stays quiet at night. We pick one of these situations and build the whole film around it, so the product arrives as the answer rather than the subject of a lecture.

The script describes each shot, the line of copy it carries and the sound that sits under it, and we pair it with a few look frames: the light through a window facing the sea, the finish of a split unit against a plastered wall. For a coastal city we also think about what humidity looks like on screen, a misted glass door or a curtain that stops clinging, because that is the feeling the buyer is paying to remove.

The unit on screen is the model in the showroom

Generators like to tidy products up. A display gains extra icons, vents change shape, the remote acquires buttons it never had. We rebuild the unit, its panel and its remote from your photos and CAD or product renders where available, then check every frame against them. The SASO energy label, if it appears, is placed as a graphic from your artwork, never redrawn by a model.

Claims follow the spec sheet and nothing else. If the unit has no Wi-Fi control, no phone app appears in the film; if the noise level is not documented, nobody whispers beside it to suggest silence. Family members in the room are generated figures seen mostly from behind or at a distance, and they are never presented as real customers giving a verdict on the product.

Showroom screens on Tahlia Street and the phone in hand

Appliance campaigns in Jeddah live in two places at once: the screens of electronics retailers and showrooms, including those along Tahlia Street and in the large malls, and the phones of people comparing models before they go. We cut a 16:9 master for in-store and YouTube, a 9:16 version for Snapchat and TikTok, and a square edit for retailer listings, recomposing shots so the unit stays central and readable.

Arabic is written first, in a Saudi register that sounds like a neighbour giving advice rather than a translated manual; English follows for the many residents who shop in it. Showroom loops are built to work without sound, with the key message carried by on-screen text, while the social cuts use a short voice-over and the hum of a room settling down.

Launching before the first humid week

Timing matters more than polish here. Buyers start comparing units when spring warms up, well before the hottest weeks, and a Ramadan or Eid offer can fall in the same window depending on the year. We plan the master and its variants together, so a promotional end card or a seasonal tag can be swapped without rebuilding the film. Every version carries an AI disclosure in line with platform rules.

Send product photos from several angles, the spec sheet, label artwork, logo files and photos of a real room where the unit is installed. If your message depends on a technician demonstrating a genuine installation, or on airflow shown with real instruments, a short practical shoot will be more convincing and we will say so before you commit. Usage of the delivered film is set out in the quote.

Plan the details

Can the film show the whole range rather than one model?

Yes, but each model needs its own reference photos and spec sheet. We usually let one hero unit carry the story and show the range in a closing frame, so viewers are not asked to compare six products in thirty seconds.

Will you show the energy label and efficiency claims?

Only from your approved label artwork and documentation. We place the label as a graphic so it stays accurate, and we do not paraphrase efficiency claims beyond what your compliance team signs off.

Can retailers in Jeddah use their own end card?

We can prepare versions with a retailer's logo or offer on the final frame, provided you hold the rights to use their branding. The number of variants is agreed in the quote.

Do you need photos of a real installation?

They help a great deal. A phone photo of the unit on a real wall shows proportions, cable routing and finish under daylight, which keeps the generated rooms believable around it.
