The project in detail
A Marseille concept: A fictional restaurant near the Old Port.
Your film
A terrace, a soap label and a harbour view call for very different films. We start with the real photographs a Marseille business can provide, write a scenario around them and produce the film remotely, without a location shoot.
Local context and uses
Hospitality around the Old Port, independent shops in Le Panier, Euroméditerranée services and makers associated with Marseille soap each have recognisable visual cues. A useful film picks one specific offer rather than treating the city as a generic sunny backdrop.
The municipality had 886,040 residents in the 2023 Insee reference population. This is population context, not a count of potential clients.
Venues. Present a dining room, hotel or rooftop without closing it for filming.
Products. Keep the shape and stamp of a soap or other object exactly as photographed.
Services and apps. Explain a booking, property or logistics offer through the client’s own material.
Story ideas
- A waterfront restaurant moves from morning preparation to the last drink of the evening using supplied venue and menu photographs.
- A real soap bar passes through stone, linen and a Mediterranean light scheme, with its stamp intact.
The method
We serve clients in Marseille entirely remotely. Send at least 10 real photographs and, if useful, an optional PDF. If you have fewer images, request a tailored quote. We agree the scenario before producing the shots. Our hybrid production shapes those shots from your images; we then handle editing and colour grading.
The films shown here use a 16:9 landscape frame. Delivery format is selected in the quote. No filming or on-site visit is included.
What the service does not cover
Notlith makes films exclusively from photographs, screenshots and documents supplied by the client. We do not film interviews, events or work processes on location.
A Mediterranean setting without a false location claim
A pale wall, a strong shadow and an open horizon can suggest a southern atmosphere without naming an address. The Beverage Can and Bottle demonstrations use light to separate textures and define a silhouette. They are invented Notlith concepts, not shoots carried out in Marseille. A generated landmark would not establish local production.
The brief separates what can be staged from what must remain faithful. Around an object, a fictional setting may evolve; the label, form and recognisable details remain anchored in your references. An actual venue needs tighter constraints. Adding a terrace or sea view would change what the business offers, so photographs determine the spaces that can appear.
Product, hospitality and property use different evidence
A beverage brand may open on a material detail before revealing an imagined terrace. A cosmetics business might prefer softer light, while keeping any product claims limited to substantiated information supplied by the client. Visual appeal does not establish effectiveness.
An hotel needs a believable arrival-to-room sequence from existing images. A property business needs accurate proportions, views and finishes. A simulated camera movement cannot prove surroundings that are absent from the references. Explore the venue offer or product offer according to the material available.
Production for a specific use
Agree the audience, publication channel and required language before choosing a duration. An international visitor audience does not automatically include an English voice in every package. Your quote confirms those versions and voice rights. Notlith does not record events or provide sound equipment; a moment that must be documented calls for a filming team.
A documented local reference
The City of Marseille filming overview describes its screen-production activity. This is local context, not a Notlith service or affiliation. Our method uses supplied photographs. Reference checked on 30 September 2026.
Local questions
Must the Mediterranean setting be a real location?
A product atmosphere can be fictional. Spaces or views attributed to an hotel or property must match its real references.
Were your demonstrations filmed in Marseille?
No. They are hybrid concepts, not local campaigns or verified location footage.
Does the hotel need to close during production?
Our work uses supplied photographs and does not require a filming day at the premises.
Does a generated aerial view prove a property's surroundings?
No. It remains an illustration and must not invent or certify surroundings missing from reference photographs.
How can I plan a version for international visitors?
Specify languages, required wording and distribution channels. The quote defines the selected voices and rights.
