The project in detail

A Rennes concept: A fictional Rennes B2B software product.

Your film

Cybersecurity and software can be difficult to photograph, but a real interface or approved dashboard gives the film a trustworthy starting point. Notlith turns those assets into a concise advertising sequence, with editing and grading carried out by the team.

Local context and uses

Rennes has a strong digital and cybersecurity profile, while the wider Breton food sector offers tangible products with labels, packaging and ingredients to protect. A service film should show what a customer can really do; a food film should keep the actual product recognisable.

The municipality had 230,890 residents in the 2023 Insee reference population. This is population context, not a count of potential clients.

Software. Select safe screenshots and explain a specific workflow.

Food products. Preserve the photographed package and label in a new scene.

Venues and services. Use real place images and a clearly bounded customer promise.

Story ideas
  • An approved security dashboard moves from a real alert to a resolved state, with sensitive fields removed by the client.
  • A packaged galette moves from a market-stall photograph to a family table without changing the pack.
The method

We serve clients in Rennes entirely remotely. Send at least 10 real photographs and, if useful, an optional PDF. If you have fewer images, request a tailored quote. We agree the scenario before producing the shots. Our hybrid production shapes those shots from your images; we then handle editing and colour grading.

The films shown here use a 16:9 landscape frame. Delivery format is selected in the quote. No filming or on-site visit is included.

What the service does not cover

Notlith makes films exclusively from photographs, screenshots and documents supplied by the client. We do not film interviews, events or work processes on location.

Choose one task and build a safe reference set

A software home screen does not necessarily explain its purpose. Select a short, recognisable action such as organising, booking or reviewing. The images should show a coherent progression without inventing a feature. The audience needs to understand the outcome rather than inspect every menu.

Prepare demonstration screens with fictional names, accounts and amounts. Blurring a single export is less reliable than creating a communication-specific dataset. Check peripheral details such as notifications and browser tabs too. A marketing brief never requires passwords, internal documents or a live sensitive environment.

Explain a technical proposition without fabricating proof

A digital or cybersecurity service may need to explain its offer without exposing the tool itself. Authorised screens and accurate narration may be sufficient. An elaborate animation cannot establish a certification, protection level or performance claim. Include only information the business has reviewed.

The Application demonstration stages devices in an invented florist setting. It is neither a recording of client software nor evidence of a Rennes cybersecurity commission. It helps assess narrative pace and screen readability.

A different brief for nightlife and hospitality

A bar or restaurant supplies rooms, lighting and service details instead of interfaces. Our Nightclub film is a fictional concept, not an announcement of a Rennes event. Dates and programme information must come from the establishment. Choose the website and app offer or venue offer accordingly. Ten useful references are a helpful starting point; fewer can be assessed in a quote. We do not need access to live business accounts to prepare the film.

A documented local reference

The Audiar study of Rennes's digital economy analyses the ecosystem using 2023 data. It provides context for software and digital services without implying a Notlith customer relationship. Primary source checked on 30 September 2026.

Local questions

Is this simply a screen recording?

No. An interface journey is placed in a scene and narrative. An exhaustive feature recording is a different format.

What should we do with sensitive screen data?

Prepare demonstration screens with fictional data before sending them. Check notifications, tabs and peripheral information too.

Can you show a cybersecurity solution operating?

A film can explain a proposition from authorised references. It must not invent functionality or use animation as proof of protection.

Must we give you application access?

A real-account login is unnecessary for the brief. Prepared screens and approved information are enough to assess the project.

Does the Nightclub concept announce a Rennes event?

No. It is a fictional atmosphere demonstration. Programme details in a client film must come from and be approved by the venue.
